Renown Health, the largest not-for-profit Integrated Health System, affiliated with the University of NevadaReno, School of Medicine, is hiring a Per Diem Critical Care Intensivist to add to our CC division that currently employes 25 MDs and 4 APPs. Renown Regional Medical Center is a state-of-the-art 700 bed Level II Trauma Center covering a 900,000-person service area. Renown Regional provides comprehensive in-patient and outpatient services including 24-hour emergency care and ECMO. Our Critical Care Division has been developed to foster optimal work-life balance and professional satisfaction.
The Intensivists are scheduled in 7 on / 7 off blocks with rotations in three closed ICUs including the Cardiac ICU, Neuro ICU, and the Trauma ICU. Intensivists attend in all the ICU's as well as the Swing and Night shifts. The Night Intensivist is paired with a Critical Care APP that takes first call, performs bedside procedures, assists with new consults, and responds to Code Blue alerts and rapid responses. Critical care APP's escalate concerns to the Intensivist when necessary.
The Critical Care division is proud to manage our ECMO program, which was established in 2024. The intensivist attends on patients requiring VA and VV ECMO. Renown Health is the only ECMO center in Northern Nevada. All Intensivists are trained in managing patients on ECMO and enjoy collaborative support from ECMO specialists and Intensivists with ECMO experience.
Our physicians are also Joint Faculty that participate in The University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine resident and medical student education. Renown's integration with UNR also offers avenues for academic professorship credentials and research tracks. Working with an established research department provides support to coordinate clinical trials and provides the opportunity to conduct research on the UNR Medical School campus.

**About the Role**
The Test Development Specialist is responsible for the full cycle of development for Licensure Examinations which adhere to the requirements detailed in each client's contract and industry practices. This position is client facing and includes content development and psychometric analysis responsibilities.
This is a full-time permanent role, with flexible hours around core office availability Monday to Friday. The role can be performed remotely, with occasional travel (up to 25%) required for meetings, events and workshops.
