Boeing Global Services (BGS) is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Customer Technical Training Specialists (Subject Matter Expert and Senior Level) to support the Training Team in Seattle, WA.
The primary focus of this role is to develop, conduct and evaluate the effectiveness of technical training. This focus requires the analyses of customer technical training needs to determine appropriate training content, objectives, and design. Additional duties of the role include research, courseware updates, and the development of new media in support of customer training.
This is an on-site Seattle position and is primarily a 1st shift position but occasional adjustments to support classes, meeting, workshops, etc. are occasionally required.
Position Responsibilities:
Independently conducts customer training in broad subject areas using the approved medium to satisfy customer training requirements.
Conducts analyses to evaluate customer technical training needs to determine appropriate training content, objectives, and design.
Develops, conducts, and evaluates effectiveness of technical training. Uses specialized software to research, configure, maintain, update, and develop new and existing media and materials.
Travel both domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time.
Ability to adjust shift. This position is primarily a 1st shift position but occasional adjustments to support classes, meeting, workshops, etc.
Works under general supervision.
May be asked to support other programs or perform other duties as needed.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
FAA A&P/Aircraft Electronics Technician Certification or EASA B1 and B2.
Experienced in electrical and electronics troubleshooting.
Formal Electrical or Avionics Training (degreed or military).
Experience interpreting commercial technical data including drawings, maintenance, and operations manuals.
Experience conducting technical training and/or performing instructional system development.
5+ years' experience in aircraft maintenance and troubleshooting (Time you were the technician physically working on the airplane with tools in hand).
Capable of traveling 25% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
10+ years' experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.).
Component Level Troubleshooting and Repair.
2+ years' experience conducting technical training on large complex commercial aircraft.
Electrical or Aeronautical Engineering Degree (preferred).

Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the manager, completes the Resident Interest Worksheet with all new residents within 7 days of move-in to determine resident interests and orients all residents to engagement program and how to access opportunities.
Follows schedule as written with minimal change and cancellation. Helps to arrange entertainment within budgetary allotments to come into the building for resident enjoyment. Promotes all programs within the building to improve resident participation. Complies with spending budget on supplies and entertainment.
On a quarterly basis, participates in an event that may be used for marketing efforts. These resident events will also serve as marketing events as they involve the entertainment of our residents. Works with the ESMC to organize these events which includes planning, advertising, set-up and clean-up.
Participates in resident outings scheduled on the monthly calendar to include site-seeing trips, destination locations, and medical trips. Supports transportation for activity outings and medical visits with the memory care community.
Requirements:
Prior experience with people living with dementia preferred.
Valid Driver License and ability to become insured.
Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.

What You'll Do
Provide leadership in Assisted Living, embodying Horizon House's mission, vision, and values.
Develop, implement, and oversee a Medication Delegation Program (Med Tech), ensuring compliance with Washington State regulations.
Develop, implement, and maintain nurse delegation documentation, including negotiated service agreements and care plans, ensuring timely assessments and follow-up on condition changes or new treatment orders.
Serve as the primary RN signer for resident initial, annual, and/or change of condition assessments.
Assess residents who require or may benefit from RN delegation services and provide responsive oversight.
Supervise, lead, train, and evaluate Medication Technicians (Med Techs), building a strong, skilled team.
Oversee safe, organized, and standardized medication administration systems, including med carts and medication rooms
Conduct and oversee resident nursing assessments, care planning, and participation in care conferences.
Lead and participate in QAPI projects, policy development, and quality improvement initiatives.
Serve as a key and trusted liaison with residents, families, staff, and pharmacy providers.
Partner with Assisted Living leadership team on strategic planning and execution.
Participate in weekend manager on-call rotation and provide clinical support as needed.
Ensure compliance with all Washington State Assisted Living regulations and related standards.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Active unencumbered RN license in good standing with the State of Washington
2+ years RN experience with knowledge of Washington State Assisted Living and RN Medication Delegation regulations.
3+ years of experience supervising 10 or more direct reports in a healthcare setting.
2+ years of experience as an RN Delegator is highly preferred or training with working knowledge of RN Nurse Delegation practices will be considered.
Prior supervisory experience in a similar setting with duties including: performance management, coaching, training, program development, and supervision of staff.
Understanding and demonstrated experience in working with older adults, dementia, aging issues, complex family dynamics and transition plans.
CPR certification and BLS training
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools
Familiarity with Assisted Living and interdisciplinary team approach, knowledge of community services and programs. (highly preferred)
