Summary:
This position is for a part-time casual (as needed/PRN) Procedural Rad Tech opening at Dublin Methodist Hospital, located in Dublin, Ohio. Part-time casual associates do not have a regular weekly schedule but are required to work 96 hours within a 6-month period on as needed basis.
Cath Lab Specific:
The Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Interventional Cardiologist for diagnostic and interventional procedures in roles that include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating. The technologist must have knowledge of the X-ray equipment in use, hemodynamic monitoring, coronary and peripheral anatomy, and sterile technique.
Vascular Interventional (VIR) Specific:
The VIR Radiologic Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Interventional Radiologist for minimally invasive, image-guided vascular procedures in roles that include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating. The technologist must have knowledge of the various imaging equipment in use including fluoroscopy, computed tomography (CT), and ultrasound.

Dublin Methodist Hospital is hiring a part-time (24 hours/week), day shift CT Technologist. This position is Tuesday and Wednesday 7:00a-7:30p with no weekends. Call is required approximately four times per month.
The CT Technologist operates computed tomography scanners for a variety of procedures following directives of staff radiologists. He/ She is responsible for explaining procedures to the patients, administering contrast media as requested, and scheduling patients in an organized manner. All duties performed per approved protocol.
Responsibilities And Duties:
Obtains patient clinical history for procedure.
Reviews lab values and screens patient for allergies to determine contraindications to contrast media.
Administers oral and IV contrast media
Operates CT scanners for variety of procedures.
Coordinates workload with other clinical sections and departments.
Monitors quality in patient care functions.
