You will interface directly with client counterparts in designing of their facilities. Utilizing AutoCAD and Revit MEP, our teams create 3D models in coordination with architects and engineers. From those 3D BIM models you'll design fire alarm, smoke and leak detection, security, and intrusion detection systems, and more. Using the various applicable Life Safety & Fire codes, as well as industry standards, you will provide calculations; equipment size and quantities; equipment and construction specifications; network diagrams and addressing; and various construction deliverables in both 2D and 3D platforms for a constructable design.

The Telecom Engineering Technician - Senior supports and maintains all in-house voice systems. This includes designing, installing, configuring, upgrading, diagnosing, repairing and optimizing all telephone systems and services, voicemail, PBX (VoIP & TDM) communication systems. This person also analyzes and resolves telecommunications circuit and system issues in a timely and accurate fashion, working often with various service providers, and assisting in all user needs. In addition, this person will also play a large role in working with Intermountain network teams with moderate responsibilities on network infrastructure used for integrated voice services. Additional collaboration needed with other various IS teams where telecommunications integration is needed.

Recognized as a technical expert in all aspects for telecommunications and technology. Responsible for developing and implementing new products and/or approaches in conjunction with implementing new / existing technologies as well as documenting and diagraming the solutions therein. Serves as technical consultants/specialists both inside Intermountain Healthcare and to outside organizations. 8. Receives, prioritizes, and responds to incoming calls, pages, and/or e-mails regarding equipment and/or connectivity problems.

9. Performs on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex telecommunications problems for a variety of end users, and recommend and implement corrective hardware solutions.

10. Accurately documents instances of software or hardware failure, repair, installation, and removal, and other work requests.

11. Inspects, tests, and maintains telephone lines, circuits, trunks, and associated wiring and cabling.
