Our design team receives, reviews, and interprets orthodontic prescriptions from our Orthodontist customers, and then completes the design work for our production team to create custom-made appliances (expanders, retainers, and aligners) for their patients. This position requires both design and customer service capabilities and experience, as our Designers interface with our customers, as well as our internal sales team and production team members, to ensure successful outcomes for our customers and the business when it comes to fulfilling orders. Qualified candidates will have the following: Previous experience in orthodontics, dental labs, or a similar role involving technical and clinical knowledge. Strong understanding of clinical orthodontic workflows and how appliance designs impact patient outcomes. Ability to interpret X-rays, CBCT scans, and other orthodontic imaging to ensure compatibility with the prescribed appliance. Experience with CAD/CAM and manufacturing software specific to orthodontics. Experience with STL Files and Digital Models: Proficiency in reviewing and interpreting digital scans and STL files. Familiarity with a variety of orthodontic appliances (e.g., retainers, lingual holding arches, expanders) and their functionality. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in reviewing case details and identifying discrepancies or issues in the design. Communication and Collaboration Skills: Capability to work closely with internal design teams, orthodontists, and other stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes. This position is full-time, located at our corporate headquarters on Chandler St in Buffalo (free parking).
