We are looking for an induvial with a very collaborative and problem solving mindset. Prior experience in an e-commerce company is required. Much of this work is done on small agile teams consisting of an engineer and product manager, although there are also a large individual component where you will be working heads down. Day-to-day you will spend 70% of your time executing in Figma, 20% working with your small team, and 10% in stand up meetings. This is a one year long contract.

Global Atlantic has offices in Atlanta, Batesville, Bermuda, Boston, Des Moines, Hartford, Indianapolis, and New York City. The base salary range posted below is inclusive of the lowest cost of living geography to the highest in which we have a Global Atlantic office.
Global Atlantic's base salary range is determined through an analysis of similar positions in the external labor market. Base pay is just one component of Global Atlantic's total compensation package for employees and at times we hire outside the boundaries of the salary range. Other rewards may include annual cash bonuses, long-term incentives (equity), generous benefits (including immediate vesting on employee contributions to a 401(k), as well as a company match on your contributions), and sales incentives. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. About the Role:
The Director of People Experience & Culture is a senior leader responsible for designing, delivering, and executing an enterprise-wide people experience and culture strategy that drives engagement, performance, growth, and long-term organization adaptability. This role will have ownership and accountability for culture, employee listening strategy, Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), leader behavioral expectations, and the end-to-end employee experience.
By translating cultural principles into clear behaviors, meaningful moments, and everyday ways of working, this leader ensures employees can “live the culture today” while building the adaptability and human capabilities needed for the future. The role integrates cultural strategy, physical and virtual workplace experience, engagement, and change execution to create an environment where employees feel connected, valued, and inspired to perform at their best.
Key Responsibilities:
Culture & Engagement
Design, implement, and execute a comprehensive culture strategy aligned with business objectives and measurable outcomes.
Own the development and delivery of a clear culture narrative that translates values into observable behaviors and daily practices across the organization.
Leverage existing listening tools and own the enterprise employee listening strategy, incorporating survey, lifecycle, and qualitative insights into a cohesive framework that informs engagement, culture, and change priorities.
Translate employee and leadership feedback into actionable initiatives, ensuring follow-through, accountability, and measurable impact on engagement and performance.
Champion and own equity and inclusion initiatives, including the strategy, governance, and impact of Employee Resource Groups (ERGs).
Employee & Workplace Experience
Own and deliver strategies that enhance the end-to-end employee experience from hire to retirement, with a focus on defining and improving key “moments that matter.”
Design and implement workplace experience solutions that reflect organizational values and ensure physical and virtual environments support hybrid work, collaboration, learning, and performance, including learning center (LC) environments where applicable.
Partner cross-functionally to ensure a seamless employee experience that is consistently delivered across locations, teams, and lifecycle stages.
Change Management & Organizational Resilience
Design and execute change management frameworks that enable organizational agility and normalize change.
Build enterprise capability and “muscle” for continuous learning, adaptability, and change, reducing change fatigue through proactive engagement and communication.
Ensure change initiatives are not only designed effectively but adopted, sustained, and embedded into how work gets done.
Leadership & Behavioral Expectations
Define, implement, and embed clear behavioral expectations for leaders at all levels and partner with leaders to ensure cultural behaviors are modeled, reinforced, and consistently demonstrated in day-to-day leadership practices.
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on culture, engagement, leadership behavior, and organizational effectiveness.
Collaboration & Talent Partnership
Collaborate closely with Strategy, HR, Talent, Learning, Facilities, IT, and Communications while retaining ownership of outcomes across the people experience portfolio.
Partner with the talent team to ensure workplace culture supports future skill development and creates an environment fit for the evolving future of work.
Measurement & Reporting
Establish and operate modern listening tools, survey practices, and analytics to monitor cultural health, employee experience, and change adoption.
Define key performance indicators for culture, engagement, inclusion, and leadership behaviors, ensuring consistent tracking and accountability.
Deliver regular executive-level insights, recommendations, and progress updates to drive continuous improvement and informed decision-making.
Who we're looking for:
Bachelor's degree in HR, Organizational Development, Business, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
10+ years of experience in HR, Organizational Development, Employee Experience, or related leadership roles.
Proven success in designing and implementing culture and engagement strategies at scale.
Expertise in change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, Kotter).
Familiarity with workplace design principles and facilities management.
Strong understanding of ERG management and effectiveness.
Skilled in leveraging employee listening tools and analytics, including AI-driven platforms.

Annual Base Salary Range: $232,000-$290,000

**About the Role**
The UI/UX Designer at PSI will own the end-to-end design process, creating userexperiences that are intuitive, elegant, and aligned with both user needs and business goals. The Director reports to the Chair of the Department of Nursing and collaborates with faculty, staff, interdisciplinary teams, and external partners to uphold simulation standards, support grant-funded projects, and advance the department's mission and strategic goals. The Director of Simulation Experiences also plays a key role in the development and implementation of interprofessional education for the University.
Operations:
Oversees all aspects of simulation operations, including scheduling, maintenance of simulation equipment and facilities, and coordination of simulation sessions.
Support and orient faculty and staff in simulation principles, techniques, and debriefing to enhance student learning outcomes.
Serve as the primary contact for simulation activities involving students, faculty, staff, administration, and external partners
Monitor advancements in simulation technology, recommend upgrades, and manage inventory, supplies, and reference materials.
Maintains comprehensive records of simulation activities across undergraduate and graduate programs.
Fiscal:
Develop and manage the simulation program budget, including forecasting expenses, allocating resources, and monitoring financial performance.
Develops inventory policies to ensure levels are maintained in a cost-effective manner.
Administrative :
Provide strategic leadership for the simulation program, ensuring alignment with the department and university goals.
Chair the Simulation Committee and serve on the Interprofessional Education (IPE) Committee.
Supervise and develop simulation staff, oversee hiring, training, and evaluations.
Collaborate with faculty to integrate simulation-based learning across programs, ensuring alignment with outcomes, best practices, and accreditation standards.
Maintain and update simulation policies, procedures, and documentation of faculty orientation development.
Collaborate with other departments to advance interprofessional education and research.
Collaborate with the SIHS Dean and the University IPE committee in planning and scheduling events.
Represent the department and the simulation program at professional meetings and conferences.
Continuously assess and improve simulation programs and educational content.
Collect and analyze simulation data and prepare the annual simulation report.
Perform other duties assigned by the Chair of the Nursing Department.
Academic:
Collaborates with faculty to integrate simulation-based education across all programs, ensuring alignment with learning outcomes, best practices, and accreditation standards.
Facilitates simulations with faculty and/or Simulation Educator, including pre- and post-debriefing sessions.
Candidates holding a master's degree in nursing may, depending on the needs of the department, teach the equivalent of 4-8 credits annually, creating classroom, laboratory or clinical environments that foster critical thinking.
Minimum Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in nursing or health related field.
Two years' experience with nursing/healthcare simulation.
Knowledge of simulation pedagogy.
Preferred Qualifications:
A master's degree in nursing.
Active, unencumbered registered nurse license in Connecticut or multistate licensure privilege to practice as a registered nurse in Connecticut.
Certification as a Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE).
Experience working in an acute care environment.
Experience in teaching at the college level.
Knowledge and experience in curriculum design.
Experience as a lab director or coordinator.

Some of this standing may be at the bedside for extended periods of time while observing student activities. The director should consider the bedside activities to be similar to those encountered in a true clinical setting. The noise levels in the lab are fairly well controlled but are consistent with that of an interactive classroom setting. The lab is air-conditioned during the summer months.
