If so, ATC is looking for a Civil Designer to work on project teams overseeing the development of transmission lines. Essential Responsibilities: At ATC, you'll use your associate's degree in civil or mechanical engineering to assist in the completion of design engineering work. ATC design standards and guides will be utilized in support of implementing transmission line construction projects. In addition, you'll coordinate review of project estimates for cost and scope accuracy and provide technical input to obtain services from external consultants. Along with other team members, you'll perform site walk downs, and confer with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that design activities are customer focused, results oriented and performance driven. You'll use your experience in computer aided design to review complex drawing packages, such as plan and profiles, structure and assembly details and foundation plans independently from sketches provided by others. You will also gather existing asset records and drawings from ATC's record storage systems to help prepare construction documents, all while administering project requirements from initial concept through completion.
