Purpose

Primary Duties
Collaborate with Director of Marketing and President on seasonal creative direction
Responsible for executing design direction for key retail selling seasons including Valentine's Day, Easter, Summer, Halloween and Holiday as well as every product offerings
Product concepts for seasonal customer presentations
Act as point person facilitating the flow of communication and design development among key internal and external parties designing and producing packaging for each key selling seasons and customers - from kick-off, to rounds of revisions, through to approvals
Assist team as needed in management of mock-ups for customer presentations
Assist in the development of packaging solutions across numerous substrates and categories
Key member of the product development team, contributing ideas, design iterations and a working knowledge of packaging solutions
Manage die lines and technical details for packaging best practices in support of owned brand and private label partners
Maintain corporate brand identity initiatives and touchpoints in partnership with Director of Marketing
Project management
Follow a development timeline to ensure tasks are being completed on time by all members of the team

Adept at Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office
Excellent design skills with an eye for shape, color, print/pattern and typography
Experience with food packaging a must including application of food labeling regulations
