We are here to tilt the world in favor of owners by making the complex process of buying and selling a home simple and fast. This is hard, but that's why we're here. As a Product Designer, you will be accountable for the end-to-end design and execution of high-impact products. This role is about moving fast and delivering measurable value-not about perfecting process or maximizing meeting time. We prioritize speed, velocity, and output above all else. This is an In Person role; you must be ready to work from our offices to ensure maximum alignment and speed of execution. What You'll Do: Drive Output & Impact Own Execution, Deliver Velocity: Be the primary driver for design on large, complex, and business-critical initiatives. Your output is measured by shipped code and measurable customer/business impact, not by design documentation or presentation quality. Design for Scale & Speed: Directly evolve and contribute to the Opendoor design system with only the components necessary to accelerate engineering and maintain consistency. Partner and Execute: Directly embed with Product and Engineering to ensure designs are engineer-ready, feasible, and built correctly the first time. Your job is to make the engineering team faster. Mission Advocacy: Influence product strategy and execution with a clear, uncompromising focus on the Opendoor mission and measurable business outcomes. What You'll Need: The Hard Requirements 10+ years of demonstrated experience in product design, with a portfolio that showcases speed of iteration and measurable business results (not just visual polish). Proven history of executing at scale across multiple platforms (web, mobile, responsive) in a rapid, high-growth, or turnaround environment. Exceptional ability to simplify ambiguous, complex problems into a clear, single path to execution. You are the clarity engine. Systems-level thinker who knows when to reuse a pattern and when to create a new one, always prioritizing engineering velocity and consistency. Experience in fast-paced, high-stakes environments-ideally consumer technology or marketplaces-where the focus is on shipping and iteration over exhaustive pre-launch review cycles. A fundamental drive and passion for Opendoor's mission and the willingness to do the hard work required. Compensation The base pay range for this position is $238,400-$298,000 annually, plus RSUs and bonuses. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on your qualifications, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
