Synthego is looking for a senior warehouse associate to perform all aspects of a warehouse function. Responsibilities will include receiving, storing, handling, cycle counting and material retrieval. All of this while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion. We're looking for a detail-oriented and highly motivated person who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

What You'll DoPlace incoming products in storage locations Relocate products or goods if necessary through the use of material transfer forms Receive PO's material coming into the warehouse or other warehouses accurately and promptly Prepare a report regarding the materials received and released Accurately place materials on shelves, racks or other designated storage areas Manage the ERP data on the computer system pertaining to items, quantity and date items were received Attach identification labels to materials received Verify the quantity and description of items received by checking items against the packing list Examine incoming material, reject damaged material and report discrepancies Attach identifying labels to materials or mark information on cases, boxes, or other containers Perform daily cycle counts on a subset of materials in the warehouse Maintain appropriate inventory levels of high throughput items and communicate replenishment needs to buyers Safely operate all the necessary equipment in work area Maintain a safe workplace in compliance with all company policies Support chemical swaps, waste scheduling and pick-up

We are currently searching for a rockstar to become the first Senior Warehouse Associate on the 2nd shift team (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM). The Houston Distribution Center is located near I-45N and Beltway 8 and is ready to have a second set of “hands on” floor leadership experience on the team. The Sr. Warehouse Associate will serve as the point person to all things warehouse when the Warehouse Supervisor is unavailable. This team player must be an excellent communicator, know how to juggle multiple competing priorities, help build a safe environment, and collaborate with several parties to maximize efficiency to obtain operational excellence. Someone who has experience with both inbound and outbound warehouse functions and the ability to motivate others will excel in this role. Responsibilities:
• Assist delegating duties to members, coordinating with the Warehouse leadership team on both shifts; • Utilize warehouse management system (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) to balance work flow;
• Train and orient both new hires and temporary associates by explaining and demonstrating assigned duties;
• Ensure a clean and safe environment, focusing on material handling equipment (MHE) and baler operation;
• Execute cycle counts, inventory consolidations, and troubleshoot order discrepancies;
• Perform quality control (QC) data entry, measurements, defects, and report damage to supervisor;
• Report issues to the Warehouse Manager, Director of Distribution, and Human Resources (HR) when necessary, in the absence of the Warehouse Supervisor;
• Perform other projects and duties as assigned in order to meet operational deadlines;
Qualifications:
• HS Diploma or equivalent;
• Moderate computer skills—ability to type, navigate the internet, construct e-mails, excel and word software knowledge, experience with (ERP) and (WMS) a plus;
• Ability to operate material handling equipment preferred;
• Forklift certification a plus;
• Ability to effectively communicate;
• Possess strong sense of urgency;
• Excellent attention to detail;
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple requests at once;
• Ability to lead and motivate a team;
• Flexibility and reliability;
• Tyndale Distribution Center (DC) operations experience preferred;
• Ability to lift and move boxes up to 45lbs without assistance.

Essential Functions
