This role will focus on stream and wetland restoration, stormwater planning, dam remediation, watershed studies, and site development projects. The ideal candidate is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with a strong background in hydrologic and hydraulic design, permitting, and project leadership. Key Responsibilities Lead water resources projects including stream/wetland restoration, dam remediation, FEMA floodplain analysis and permitting (No-Rise, LOMR, CLOMR), culvert and bridge replacements, and stormwater management planning. Prepare scopes, schedules, budgets, and deliverables for multiple projects simultaneously. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, designers, and GIS technicians. Provide technical oversight, quality control, and mentorship to junior staff. Interface with regulatory agencies, municipalities, and clients to ensure compliance and successful project execution. Qualifications B.S. in Civil Engineering (required). Professional Engineer (PE) license in Ohio or North Carolina (or ability to obtain within 6 months). 7-10+ years of progressive experience in water resources engineering. Hands-on experience with: Stream & wetland restoration Dam remediation FEMA floodplain analyses & permitting Culvert & bridge replacement projects Stormwater planning & watershed studies Proficiency in Civil 3D and familiarity with GIS tools.
