Mark R. Harris is executive vice president and chief financial officer of Heidrick & Struggles and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee, based in the Stamford office. Since joining the firm in 2018, Mark is responsible for the company’s finance and accounting functions, including financial reporting, business development and strategy, investor relations, risk management, treasury, real estate, and financial planning and analysis.

Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Mark was the chief financial officer and chief accounting officer of Hercules Capital, a publicly traded business development company on the New York Stock Exchange for three years. Before that, he was the senior managing director, head of asset management and chief financial officer of Avenue Capital Group’s Asia Pacific platform.

Mark previously served as the corporate financial controller of Hutchison Telecommunication International Limited, a public trade telecommunications company on the NYSE. He is an active certified public accountant in the state of California.

Michael M. Cullen is the chief operating officer of Heidrick & Struggles located in the Boston office. He has overall responsibility for global field operations, client operations, and practice management across all lines of business and industry practices. He has full P&L responsibility and oversees all field personnel and resources.

Michael also has responsibility for information technology, global marketing, and shared services and is a strategic talent adviser for a select group of companies and CEOs.

Prior to becoming COO, Michael held various leadership roles within Heidrick & Struggles. Most recently he was the global practice managing partner for the Technology & Services Practice, overseeing one of the premier technology and services search practices in the world.

Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Michael was head of the office of executive talent at EMC Corporation (now Dell EMC). He joined EMC in 2000 and was responsible for EMC’s executive hiring, movement, and career guidance. He also provided support to the chief executive officer and the executive team.
