Thomas Umbel is Chief Executive Officer of Seno Medical Instruments, Inc. Tom Umbel brings more than 30 years of medical device and diagnostics leadership experience to Seno Medical. He has lead several start-up companies, including one through a successful acquisition. He has also managed large organizations through significant growth leading both the strategic development and M&A efforts in his previous roles. Tom was most recently the VP of Business Development for Bioventus, a privately held ortho-biologics company in Durham, NC. Tom has led the Business Development efforts at both Bioventus and Hologic, the largest dedicated Women’s Health company in the U.S. Tom’s role in managing mergers and acquisitions helped to grow Hologic from a small single-product company with $100 million in revenue to a large diversified company with more than $2.5 billion in sales in his 15 years with the company. Prior to Hologic, Tom was the President of Direct Radiography Corp. (DRC). He led the development and commercialization of the digital x-ray detector technology, which he ultimately sold to Hologic in 1999. This company’s technology became the core to Hologic’s market leading digital mammography system and was the engine to Hologic’s significant growth. Prior to DRC, Tom worked at Sterling Diagnostic Imaging for 3 years and DuPont for 20 years. At those two companies, Tom held senior management positions in operations, engineering, sales and marketing. Tom has a BS in Chemical Engineering from Grove City College.

Eric Davis is Chief Financial Officer of Seno Medical Instruments, Inc. Eric brings more than 26 years of financial and operational leadership with extensive domestic and international experience. He’s co-led several M&A efforts resulting in aggregate purchase prices over $500M and secured over $200M in investment capital. He’s a critical strategic thinker who also has the ability to define and implement at a tactical level. Eric was most recently the Chief Financial Officer of CeloNova BioSciences, Inc., a privately held medical device company who sold their Interventional Radiology/Oncology business to Boston Scientific at the end of 2015. Prior to CeloNova, Eric was the Chief Financial and Operating Officer at Genesis Networks Enterprises, LLC where he led the finance and accounting operations of a $1 billion network integrations and supply chain management company. Prior to Genesis, Eric spent time operating as senior finance and operations management in the Oil and Gas, Banking and Brokerage and Aero-Defense industries. Eric holds an MBA from Baylor University and BSBA in Management from the University of Tulsa. He’s also been inducted into the prestigious Beta Gamma Sigma honor society as a lifetime member and awarded Chartered Fellow (CMgr FCMI) by the Chartered Management Institute and Fellow Chartered Management Accountant (FCMA) and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. He also holds certifications from Villanova University as a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) and Certified Lean Six Sigma Sensei (CLSSS).

William F Keane is a Chief Medical Officer at Seno Medical Instruments and is based in White House Station, New Jersey. He has worked as Proffessor at University of Minnesota Medical School; VP External Scientific & Medical Affairs at MERCK & CO., INC.; and Chief Medical Officer at Reliant Pharmaceuticals. William studied at Yale School of Medicine between 1964 and 1968.

Catherine Martin is an Executive Assistant to CEO/CFO at Seno Medical Instruments and is based in San Antonio, Texas. She has worked as Executive Assistant to CEO at AVENTINE HILL PARTNERS INC and Office Manager at Hightech Rehab Solutions and Hill Country Orthotics & Prosthetics.
