    The Senior Director, Corporate Communications is responsible for shaping and executing the company's global communications and marketing communications strategy. In a complex engineering and manufacturing environment, this role ensures consistent, transparent, and impactful messaging across internal teams, customers, investors, media, and the broader public. This leader will oversee all facets of corporate communications, including employee engagement, executive messaging, media relations, crisis communications, and supporting financial disclosures-while serving as a key advisor to senior leadership. The Senior Director will play a critical role in shaping the company's narrative around innovation, operational excellence, sustainability, and safety. In addition, this role is responsible for developing and executing strategic communication plans that effectively promote the company's brand, products, and services across multiple channels. This role involves creating compelling content, managing campaigns, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring consistent messaging across advertising, public relations, digital media, and events. The ideal candidate will have strong storytelling skills, a deep understanding of audience engagement, and the ability to translate business objectives into impactful marketing initiatives that drive awareness, loyalty, and growth. The communications team is part of Sensata's Growth and Transformation Office, and this role will report directly to the Executive Vice President and Chief Growth and Transformation Officer. This role is in our Corporate Headquarters in Attleboro, MA. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy aligned with corporate objectives and brand positioning. Lead all aspects of internal communications, including executive messaging, organizational announcements, employee engagement campaigns, and change management communications. Oversee external communications including media relations, public relations, thought leadership, and reputation management. Partner with Investor Relations and Legal to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial and regulatory disclosures. Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on communications strategy, crisis response, and reputational risk. Manage corporate storytelling across channels-press releases, speeches, social media, web, and video. Build and maintain strong relationships with media, analysts, and key external stakeholders. Develop and lead integrated marketing communications strategies and ensure initiatives align with overall business goals Drive brand positioning and messaging while ensuring brand voice, visual identity and storytelling is consistent both internally and externally Develop metrics to assess communication and campaign effectiveness and ROI, and adjust strategies based on insights Manage and mentor a high-performing communications team and external agency partners. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field. Master's degree or MBA preferred but not required. Working equivalency accepted. 15+ years of experience in corporate communications, marketing communications, or public relations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role at a public company. Strategic Communication Planning: Ability to develop and execute integrated communication strategies aligned with business goals. Leadership & Team Management: Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing internal and external communication professionals. Brand & Reputation Management: Proven ability to shape and protect corporate image across media, digital platforms, and stakeholder communications. Crisis Communication: Skilled in managing sensitive issues and acting as a spokesperson during high-stakes situations. Digital & Social Media Proficiency: Familiarity with digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and social media strategy. Excellent Writing & Presentation Skills: Ability to craft compelling narratives and deliver executive-level presentations. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: * The CNC Machinist will plan, program, set up and operate CNC Mills and other diverse types of equipment used to manufacture parts within established manufacturing processes and quality requirements * Ensures quality completion of all CNC jobs to meet scheduled dates * Communicates with engineers and planners daily to assure accurate work orders and schedules * Produce parts in accordance with the production plan provided by the Machine Shop Manager * Optimize production by performing secondary work such as deburring, vibratory, and any hand work preparing for the next job, organizing and cleaning the cell, and helping others to do the same while machines are running * Perform inspections and in-process quality checks * Stay on task and to help meet or beat the team's production requirements * Inspect completed material utilizing hand inspection equipment * Proactively identifies and implements ways to reduce set up times and identify potential cost reductions in regards to product design * Trains less experienced Machinists at the direction of Machine Shop Manager supervisor * Assists in the maintenance of a detailed program database including revision dates, program revision and or improved method record * Interfaces and supports all internal departments to maintain common goals * Act as a troubleshooter for machining problems * Train operators/junior machinists in machining processes and CNC operation * Positive Attitude keeping a positive outlook and being respectful of others * Make adjustments to meet customer requirements * Train less experienced Machinists at the direction of Machine Shop Manager supervisor Job Qualifications: * 5+ years of knowledge of CNC milling machining centers * Knowledge of G-Code, conversational and other programming languages * Must be able to read blueprints and drawings * Ability to use measuring devices such as micrometer, caliper, and height gauge * Ability to operate equipment and make adjustments * Capacity to evaluate information to determine compliance with standards * Ability to walk, use hands, reach, and talk or hear. * Occasionally sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch. * Lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. * Good vision for details. * Agility to move quickly around machinery. * Adequate hearing to communicate and hear warning signals. * Ability to lift/move heavy objects. The ideal candidate will be someone with sales management experience and proven success in driving growth in Sales and Business Development. * Experience: Minimum of 5 years of sales management experience, with Aftermarket specific sales experience; OEM sales experience a plus but not required.
