The co-op program for students in their junior or senior year of study provides the opportunity to make big contributions that will help us deliver advanced freight rail braking solutions now and in the future. The ElectricalEngineering group develops design solutions for NYPA's electrical assets and systems in generating plants, substations, and transmission networks.
In addition, the ElectricalEngineering group provides the following services:
* Performing power flow analysis of power plant electrical systems to determine performance during normal, emergency, and motor starting conditions.
* Simulating and analyzing abnormal system disturbances to identify influential system parameters and root causes.
