The HR Business Partner is responsible for applying business knowledge and human resources expertise by providing a wide range of HR support and advice. This includes, but not limited to, guidance on recruitment, terminations, performance management, employee relations and HR best practices while facilitating a positive relationship between personnel and senior management.

+ Supports employees on issues, including but not limited to; benefits, payroll, and general policy and procedures

Responsibilities:

Teledyne Controls has an exciting opportunity for an Electronic Technician to join our Customer Repair Group located in El Segundo, CA. Under general supervision, this position is responsible to ensure compliance with FAA regulations for Part 145 repair shop by inspecting, testing, troubleshooting and repairing equipment used on aircraft.
Key Functions
* Accurately troubleshooting faults in electronic circuits and mechanical systems using various types of test equipment e.g., Special Test Equipment "STE", Automated Test Equipment "ATE", data analyzers, microprocessors emulators, circuit testers, oscilloscopes, and multi-meters
* Perform maintenance, preventative maintenance and modifications to avionics equipment.
* Perform preliminary analyses, alignments, light to moderate troubleshooting, repair, and testing of electronics at a level that meets or exceeds the expected productivity.
* Comply with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, ISO procedures, and Teledyne Controls policies and procedures.
* Inspects all assigned maintenance articles being worked and replacement materials for defects and proper identification.
* Perform repair rework using solder equipment to acceptable IPC J-STD specifications as needed.
* Perform other duties and responsibilities
Requirements:
* Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year of accredited school in aviation electronics or related field of study and a minimum of 0-2 years of Electronic Technician experience; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Mandate to participate in the FAA Anti-Drug and Alcohol testing in compliance with 49 CFR part 40 and 14 CFR part 120.
* Must be able to troubleshoot to board/component level analog/digital with some assistance.
* Must be able to read and interpret production illustrations (PI), component maintenance manual (CMM), wiring diagrams and schematics.

The Sr. Corporate Trade Compliance Manager, Jurisdiction & Classification role will act as the subject matter expert and leader for Teledyne's global Jurisdiction & Classification (JC) program and will report directly to the Teledyne Chief Trade Compliance Counsel. As a member of the Teledyne Corporate International Trade Compliance (CITC) team, this position will work with engineering teams together with business and Trade Compliance personnel to understand and classify the products (hardware, software, and technology) that Teledyne exports -- and will serve as one of the primary Trade Compliance points of contact for JC determinations, training, and support worldwide. This role will supervise a Corporate Compliance Engineer and will indirectly supervise multiple designated JC Focals worldwide.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
* Provide strategic guidance/direction to business stakeholders across the organization (e.g. executive and business operations teams responsible for global marketing, business development, global manufacturing and product development functions) with a focus on designing product for successful introduction in intended markets.
* Monitor applicable regulations affecting current or future Jurisdiction & Classification determinations for both U.S. and non-U.S. jurisdictions, and lead efforts to implement holds, changes, hold releases or license updates proactively with the assistance of the Trade Automation & Licensing teams as well as in the business units to avoid unauthorized transfers.

* Researching and resolving account discrepancies working with customers and Contracts Dept.
* Responsible for collections, application of customer payments and monitoring of past due accounts and over the credit limit. Resolve customer inquiries on invoicing and payment process
* Process progress billing liquidations and monitoring of Customer Advance payments.
* Petty Cash Custodian
* Responsible for AR Month End Tasks including journal entries, reconciliation of AR Aging against General Ledger, review and reconciliation of Bad Debts Reserve, Reconciliation of Cash Receipts and Customer Advances
* Responsible for preparation and uploading of Bi-weekly AR Top Ten reporting to Corporate.
* Will assist Accounts Payable in matching and data entry.
* Performing administrative and clerical tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
* High School diploma or equivalent;
* Associates or Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
* At least one year experience required
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Understanding basic principles of Finance, Accounting and Bookkeeping
* Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to build relationships with clients and internal departments.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
