I also had consulting positions at Lucent Technologies and Deloitte and Touché evaluating and deploying network and Internet security products. I am a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and a Sord Scholar Graduate of the McCombs School of Business. I attended Texas A&M as a President's Endowed and National Merit Scholar and obtained a degree in Electrical Engineering. After graduating from Texas A&M, I spent 5 years as an officer on the USS Jacksonville (SSN-699) fast attack nuclear submarine.
