Sentinel Capital Partners CEO and leadership

Vincent Taurassi joined Sentinel Capital Partners as General Counsel in 2015. Mr. Taurassi joined Sentinel from BlackRock, where he had been a vice president within Legal and Compliance since 2011. His responsibilities at BlackRock included legal coverage and oversight of transactions and investments for multiple products across the BlackRock investment platform, including private equity funds, hedge funds, mutual funds, CLOs, and separate accounts.

Previously, Mr. Taurassi spent four years as a corporate associate at Kirkland & Ellis. He holds a JD, magna cum laude, from New York University School of Law and a BS in mathematics, summa cum laude, from Union College. He is also a member of the New York Bar and the New Jersey Bar.

Douglas Levy joined Sentinel as Chief Financial Officer in 2005. Previously, Mr. Levy spent six years as CFO of CW Group, a venture capital firm, where he was responsible for financial reporting, fund administration, and financial operations.

Previously, Mr. Levy was Manager of Partnership Accounting at Warburg Dillon Read where he was responsible for the accounting, tax, and administrative matters of corporate buyout and venture capital partnerships. Prior to that, he was employed by Deloitte and Touche, where he audited several financial services clients. Mr. Levy is a CPA and holds a BS in Accounting, summa cum laude, from Binghamton University.
