About the Role At Sentry we're dealing with lots of data - billions of events a month. Some of this data is used to understand how services or teams are performing over time. We're looking for someone who values data and understands the power of asking the right questions in order to help engineering teams deliver more stable products. This role involves developing a product vision together with technical leads for our releases product and upcoming features build around service stability and teams. In this role, you will: * Act as the product owner for our release insights and emerging mertrics product * Work with the build team to prioritize and deliver on a shared vision * Work with developers using our product to understand their challenges and be their voice in the room as we make decisions * Build positive relationships, and trust, over time through on-time delivery of commitments and high quality, productive communication with internal and external customers * Break the vision down into bite sized projects by defining milestones and success criteria, managing customer feedback * Work with our go to market teams on strategy to ensure our data exploration and visualization features capture the imagination of our target audience. WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Trial Attorney with Sentry, you'll draft pleadings, handle depositions, attend hearings, argue motions, and negotiate settlements in the interest of Sentry. In addition, you'll:

* Handle a full caseload of minimal to moderate complex matters representing Sentry
* Communicate and report to the internal Client and Claims associates on progress of litigation, strategy, and evaluation
* Assist Claims associates as requested in resolving cases against Sentry by settlement and/or trial
* Develop and maintain all strategies from pre-trial through post-trial and conduct appeals when appropriate
* Participate in training Claims personnel regarding litigation and the law as requested
* Review case law and statutory changes to maintain current knowledge of the law and to report on emerging legal trends

WHAT IT TAKES

* Strong academic background and a Juris Degree (JD) from an American Bar Association-accredited law school
* 2+ years of experience as a practicing litigation attorney licensed in Florida
* Experience with P.I.P. litigation required; additional experience with tort / bodily injury litigation strongly preferred

The Compliance and Development Analyst's key responsibilities include:

• Translate research findings, business requirements, and feedback from cross-functional teams to complete UX designs and strategies

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Claims Representative on our Workers' Compensation team, you'll have the opportunity to establish a solid foundation with Sentry by conducting the following duties:

* Analyze claims, set reserves, determine compensability, pay benefits, and settle claims with established dollar authority
* Develop and manage workers' compensation claims action plans to a resolution, coordinate return-to-work efforts, and approve claim payments
* Prepare claims for settlement and negotiate settlement with best outcome
* Manage and direct all cases to closure in the most efficient and effective way possible
* Communicate claim action and processing with claimant and client in a professional and timely manner

WHAT IT TAKES

* Bachelor's degree preferred or related work experience
* Knowledge of insurance policies and medical terminology helpful
* Ability to make sound decisions while using good judgment in evaluating claims
* Effective oral and written communication skills
* Ability to maintain highly confidential information
* Ability to review and interpret complex and detailed documents such as contracts, medical reports and insurance regulations

WHAT YOU'LL DO Sentry's Underwriter- National Accounts team works closely with our sales personnel in order to obtain information needed to underwrite, price and program individual policies/accounts.
