Key Responsibilities: Position is responsible for the efficient and orderly functioning of raw materials storage; maintain constant audit and check of stores records, inventories, shortages, etc. Work includes operation of various equipment such as band saws, metal cutting brobo saw, drill press, grinders, chop saw, etc. Materials are 304 and 316 stainless, mild carbon steel and other exotic metals. Unload, review documentation, receive raw materials and put into appropriate bin location. Pull, cut, and issue materials in company computer system as required by job travelers. Be able to translate between code and non-code requirements, and transfer trace numbers to the job traveler or QA document. Maintain accurate inventories and assist in cycle counts. Job Specifications: Experienced in operation of drill press, radial arm drill, horizontal and vertical power band saws. Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and use measuring instruments. Previous experience with computerized inventory systems. Ability to bend, reach, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds. High attention to detail and precision in work.
