JOB SUMMARY: Assists the IT Manager and the Company's IT needs and maintenance including
installation, troubleshooting, and repair of hardware, software and network devices.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Adheres to the mission of the SER Corporation.
Supports the IT Manager and effectively carries out assigned duties.
Provides desktop IT support including troubleshooting network, computers and printers.
Provides technical assistance to staff on the proper use of software and hardware.
Prepares computer equipment with the necessary software including PC, laptop and printer setup. Removes software as needed.
Ensures new hire work stations have computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, desk phone, and any additional specialized equipment. Installs, tests and configure new workstation, peripheral equipment, and software.
Assists with network administration and server maintenance.
Assists with the necessary cabling when moving equipment to alternate locations.
Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to IT Support requests received.
Escalating Service Requests to the appropriate group or individuals as detailed in a timely and efficient manner.
Assists with keeping an up to date inventory of equipment.
Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate's Degree or equivalent two to four years of work experience in the IT field and/or industry certifications.
Minimum of 2-3 years prior experience in a Technical Support capacity.
Sound written and verbal communication skills necessary to effectively interface and provide exceptional customer service is required.
Must be a self-starter with the ability to adhere to procedure.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team effectively.
A sense of urgency and a commitment to timely completion of projects.
Attention to detail along with a commitment to quality and confidentiality.
Strong analytical, logical thinking and problem-solving skills are necessary.
Experience and knowledge of PC hardware, Microsoft applications, operating systems, and e-mail applications. (Knowledge of Sophos and Barracuda products is a plus.)
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10/11, Edge, Chrome, and Microsoft Office (Experience using Microsoft 365 is a plus.)
Proficient with Mobile Devices, wireless networks, and peripherals such as printers, scanner, etc.
Experience with safety, IT integrity protocols and knowledge of computer security best practices.
Ability to read manuals and procedural documents and follow departmental processes.
Excellent organizational and follow-up skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to be a flexible, team player and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment are a must.
Must possess and provide a valid Michigan Driver's License and have access to reliable transportation to perform work at various company sites.

JOB SUMMARY: The Bilingual Financial Coach will provide low to moderate income eligible families in the SER Center for Working Families with financial advice/coaching that will contribute to the financial stability and asset building capabilities of each family.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Facilitates financial education workshops such as money management, credit, and banking, mortgage loans, buying a home, and avoiding predatory lenders.
Conducts intake for participants seeking financial counseling assistance.
Conducts individual counseling on topics such as credit and debt management, savings, budgeting, special assistance programs for homeownership, foreclosure intervention, and other topics as appropriate.
Assists the participant to develop a personal financial plan to meet their financial goals.

Provides information on Individual Development Accounts (IDAs) and assists with the application process.

Creates and maintain partnerships with financial institutions, real estate agencies, lending institutions, financial industry professionals, and community-based organizations.
Maintains program database including data collection, input and program reporting.
Represents the organization in various community forums and conducts program presentations.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance or other related field.
Two to four years of related experience in personal financial education, homebuyer education, and/or foreclosure intervention counseling preferred.

Assesses jobseeker's career and job readiness and recommends strategies to enhance their marketability including referrals to training and/or workshops.

Refers jobseekers who are not job ready back partners for additional barrier removal services and/or academic reinforcement.
Ensures jobseekers are referred to available job placement services, including recruitment events; Refers jobseekers to the Reentry Employment Specialist/Navigator job match, placement, and retention support.
Actively screens caseload to refer candidates to Temporary Work Experiences (TWE), a form of subsidized employment designed to bridge those with little to no work experience with increased skill development in a work setting.
Actively participates in all job search and placement events (fairs) and activities as assigned promoting teamwork, professionalism, courtesy, and jobseeker satisfaction.
Cross-trains with the Reentry Career Services team in order to support program outcomes.
Performs visits to other locations, jobseekers' places of residence, training providers' and employers' sites, as necessary.

Maintains case notes and service reporting in the Launchpad (CRM) systems as well as jobseeker's files. Documents efforts and outcomes in participant LP profile and hard file.
