* Supporting the engineering and design process by developing design documentation for Navy small boats, such as technical drawings, Liaison Action Records, and Boat Alteration Records.
* Producing research and performing calculations for electrical loads and wiring demands.
* Use client-provided drawing format standards to produce technical documentation and CAD drawings to standardize and document system upgrades on Navy craft.
* Analyzing and interpreting engineering blueprints, bills of materials, and installation manuals to produce clear and accurate schematics and wiring diagrams.
* Travel up to 5%.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline
* 1+ years of experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Familiarity with electrical and electronic systems for marine applications, such as navigation and communications systems gauges, sensors, radars, cabin and deck lighting, engines, pumps and shore power.
* Knowledge of marine industry or small boats.

* Tasking is primarily computer based but occasional boat checks may be required of craft that are on trailers or in the water or on ships.

**To be successful in this role, you will have:**
