Team Submarine's Submarine COLUMBIA Class Program Office is responsible for:
The construction of COLUMBIA Class submarines, financial and budget management, shipyard support of submarines, vendor support of submarines, logistical support, quality assurance (SUBSAFE), and post-delivery submarine certifications and test programs.
The Team Submarine concept unifies once diverse submarine-related activities into a single submarine-centric organization with the goal of eliminating traditional stovepipe structures and processes that created impediments and inefficiencies in the submarine research, development, acquisition, and maintenance communities. Team Submarine provides improved communication among the various offices that contribute to the overall success of the United States Submarine Force.

**In this role, you will:**
+ Be a system matter expert (SME) for Configuration Management processes and implementation to include changes to disclosures via revisions, design changes, and clean up revisions.
+ Be a SME for non-conformance processes including the creation of Technical Variance Documents (TVD) and ship specific as-built design disclosures.
+ Provide oversight of shipbuilder change management processes and performance while providing expert input into COLUMBIA (CLB) Class program management on change execution.
+ Assist in providing technical support to the shipbuilder in areas of problem resolution, planning modifications, and process enhancements.
+ Review and provide oversight of the shipbuilder's configuration management processes.
+ Ensure CLB Class requirements documents for configuration management (e.g. Drawing Approval Procedure and Configuration Management Plan) are up to date and accurate.
+ Prepare and maintain the documentation needed by the project group.
+ Manage a project so that it remains on budget, on schedule, and meets the required quality level.
+ Impliment CLB Class TVD reduction efforts (e.g. proper classification of non-conformance documentation for inclusion in the SDI)
+ Oversee the unique configuration management processes including Missile Tube configuration file and UK DDTR processes.
+ Interface with multiple groups and teams within PMS 397 involved with CLB Class configuration management.
**To be successful in this role, you will have:**
+ An active Secret Security Clearance, or the ability to obtain one.
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
+ 8-10 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, production support, or engineering configuration management.
+ Strong understanding of configuration management principles, change management processes, and technical data packages.
+ Proven experience in creating and managing Technical Variance Documents (TVDs) and handling non-conformance processes.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP), PowerPoint, and Word.
+ Strong analytical skills to assess part compatibility and vendor substitution needs.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional and cross-organizational communication.
+ Experience working with DoD or Navy technical documentation standards.
+ Ability to travel up to 10%.

The Surface Maintenance Engineering, Planning, Program (SURFMEPP) maintains, monitors, and refines Class-wide and Individual-Ship Maintenance Plans for all non-nuclear surface ships to ensure material readiness for the projected service life, develop life-cycle strategies to address system upgrades, and fully implement the Class Maintenance Plan into each surface ship's maintenance schedule and availability planning process. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Support the MSC Management Officer by developing and maintaining catalog templates, implementing directed changes from the Standard Specifications for Ship Repair and Alteration Committee (SSRAC), and other tasks concerning MSC maintenance
* Work within Navy Maintenance Database (NMD) as a planner working principally within Mechanical Disciplines.
* Knowledge of the Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual (JFMM), especially Volume II (Integrated Fleet Maintenance) and Volume VII (Contracted Ship Maintenance).
* Ability to write work item specifications/templates and estimate in accordance with Appendix 4-E of the JFMM.

• Exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives and approaches to an assignment. Completed work is reviewed from a relatively long-range perspective, for desired results.

• Develops and implements appropriate checklists and metrics.
• Produces performance reporting and analyzes trends to mitigate impacts to craft availability.

In support of this effort the CNIC N6 Network Support Technician will be responsible for providing technical support to Audio Visual (AV)/ Video Teleconference Center (VTC) systems and IT services required to support Navy Marine Corps Internet (NMCI)/COSC planning, coordination, execution and business processes.
In this role, you will:
+ Provide support in maintaining, troubleshooting, upgrading, and administering AV/VTC systems, sub-systems and components
+ Provide assistance with network account management, file share management, tech refresh services management, SIPRNET transition, legacy application and server reduction, database management, Service Level Agreement (SLA) tracking, invoice processing, Move Add Change (MAC) management, and application workbook maintenance
+ Troubleshoot system outages and engage with program-level support personnel, base-level communications, and regional staff to resolve issues
+ Provide support to resolve technical issues that arise during sustainment including maintenance trend analysis, technical issue resolution, interfacing with OEM, analysis of alternatives, and proposing solutions to improve uptime and readiness for locally installed systems
+ Provide customer support to include receiving calls for network connection, troubleshooting network issues/outages, process firewall change request and answer general network questions
To be successful in this role, you will have:
+ An active DoD SECRET security clearance
+ An up to date Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II baseline certification
+ High School Diploma with 4 years technical training related to Information Technology, Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related discipline
+ IT related knowledge and experience particularly in providing AV/VTC support
+ Experience in operating, maintaining, troubleshooting and upgrading Polycom 500 and SX 80 VTC and other related AV/VTC systems or sub-systems
+ Travel up to 10%

Looking for a senior-level Damage Control (DC) Subject Matter Expert (SME) role with the DDG 51 Fleet? As a part of this dynamic team located in Bath, ME, you will be expected to bring your inquisitiveness, drive, and collaborative skills to make an impact towards our military defense and safety of our sailors.
You will work with a team of engineers and analysts providing support to clients developing and maintaining U.S. Navy surface ships Damage Control systems and associated subsystems.
+ **A current or active Interim DoD Secret clearance is required prior to starting.**
**In this role, you will:**
+ Provide expert level knowledge of the function, design, and operation of U.S. Navy damage control equipment and systems to include; but not limited to: firefighting (firemain, Halon, HFP, Water mist, AFFF), dewatering (main and secondary drainage), Counter Measure Washdown (CMWD), Chemical Biological Radiological Defense (CBRD), Collective Protection System (CPS), Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA), DC markings, watertight doors, hatches and scuttles, DC Allowance Equipage List (AEL) inventory, and DC diagrams.
+ Supported DDG 51 new construction trials (Builders, Acceptance and FCT) by assisting Supervisor of Shipbuilding and shipbuilder in the grooming and demonstration of the aforementioned equipment and systems both prior to and during the ship trial. Evaluate ship design changes and present summaries to government clients.
+ Assisting PMS 400D in the identification and resolution of damage control equipment systems technical issues that arise during ship construction, trials and post-delivery.
+ Assess compliance with naval regulatory and design standards.
+ Interface with stakeholders and cross functional teams to ensure necessary resources are available for ship/system.
+ Review qualification test procedures and participates in qualification testing and trials.
+ Participate in Sea Trials for ships under construction.
+ Maintain communications with SUPSHIP and other commands, including laboratories and support contractors in resolving technical issues impacting (or have potential to impact)
**To be successful in this role, you will have:**
+ High School Diploma/GED and a minimum ten (10) years of experience in Navy, Coast Guard, or Commercial damage control systems with prior service in the U.S. Navy, which must include assignment within the Repair Division and leadership roles such as DCA, DCC, DCCS, DCCM.
+ **A current or active Interim DoD Secret clearance is required prior to starting.**
+ Experience working with Navy ships and ship system design principles and practices. Prior service with the U.S. Navy which must include assignment on Deck Division
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills and be capable of productive and efficient work with limited or no supervision.
+ The ability to present complex ideas and create presentations for senior military and civilian leaders.
+ Proficiency using Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
+ The ability to travel at least 25% of the time.
