    Human Resources Manager - Georgia DC Rincon, GA Serena & Lily is seeking a Human Resources Manager for our Distribution Center opening in Rincon, GA (GDC). This position will assist in building and maintaining an inclusive and supportive environment in our facility. As the HR Manager you will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department for the GDC including recruiting, hiring, employee relations, pay and benefits support, performance management, talent development, workers compensation, and organizational effectiveness. The ideal candidate must be well organized, have a strong sense of prioritization and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organizations human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning. * Provides support and guidance to leadership team, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, performance counseling, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations. * Manages the talent acquisition process for hourly employees including but not limited to sourcing, screening, interviewing, and reference checks. Collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings. * Responsible for all onboarding and offboarding administration. Conduct exit interviews, and escalate issues/trends as necessary, and provide recommendations to address. * Partner with Specialists (Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Organizational Effectiveness, etc.) and HR colleagues to initiate, support or resolve employee requests/issues. * Assist managers in addressing performance issues; provide guidance on effective coaching and counseling. When necessary, work with managers to outline appropriate disciplinary steps; document and report relevant information * Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance. * Assist in facilitation and management of annual performance review cycles. * Assist in planning events that help drive talent engagaement, community and and positive culture. * Provides support and participation in other HR related duties, events and tasks as asked on a variety of projects, as needed. * Assist with Office Coordination; will support basic office coordination in addition to facilities management Performs other duties as assigned. Responsibilities including but not limited to: Shipping, Receiving, Order Picking, Order Packing, Returns Processing, Report Generation, Quality Control, Item Put-Away, Inventory Control and general workplace maintenance. Shift Schedules: * 1st shift: 5am-1:30pm, Monday- Friday * 2nd shift: 3:30pm-12am, Monday-Friday Goals and Objectives: * Work as directed by warehouse operations supervisors and managers and in support of the Serena & Lily mission, goals and values. * Increase order picking and packing efficiency through use of best-practices and ever increasing product knowledge. * Processing of customer returns, special projects, and incorporating technology to streamline supply chain processes. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: * Assist shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing to sales associates for processing. * Reading customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped. * Moving materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas. * Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code. * Filling requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to shipping or to designated route driver storage area. * Ensuring warehouse is accessible and safe for salespeople and customer traffic. * Assembling customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or relocating orders to a holding area or shipping department. * Marking materials with identifying information using appropriate method. * Opening bales, crates, and other containers. * Recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program. * Assisting in counting of physical inventory. * Weighing and counting items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards. * May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed. * Completing requisition forms to order supplies from other departments. * Preparing parcels for mailing. * Sweeping, dusting, and mopping. * Organizing warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times. * Wearing the proper safety equipment. * Complete assignments with the use of RF equipment. * Other duties may be assigned. This position provides a critical role in helping the vitality of the Company by ensuring smooth operations for all staff in their digital usage. This includes, but is not limited to, providing local and remote Technical Support Services to end users; including support for more complex central software and hardware technologies. The position will have a specific focus on maintaining a range of onsite hardware and equipment for employees at Serena & Lily's distribution center. The Technology Operations Engineer is an onsite role, working 5 days a week out of the Serena & Lily Georgia Distribution Center. Onsite visits to additional Serena & Lily locations in the area may be needed up to once a month. The distribution center operates on the following shifts - 1st Shift: Monday-Friday 5:30am-2:30pm EST 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 1:30pm - 10:30pm EST Responsibilities: * Provide support for a variety of computing hardware, including Windows laptops, Zebra scanguns, Xerox and Zebra printers, and Meraki networking equipment * Provide support for a range of Windows and OSX software, including Office 365, Netsuite, Okta, Zoom, Adobe, and custom WMS software. * Work with other team members to resolve a range of helpdesk tickets in support of hardware and software throughout the company * Be part of a team that providers urgent support after hours when needed, including being part of an on call rotation. * Assist in the onboarding and offboarding of company employees, both in person and remote * Researches changes in operating and application systems and is proactive in helping determine the benefits of features or solutions * Inventory of spare components and effectively communicating needs before depleting inventory * Works with the team to conduct continuous research and analysis into the nature, effect and results of current and future technology which will improve the overall technology deployment at the distribution center. This includes identifying and resolving system issues, upgrades and ensuring the system is functioning as expected. * System integration with other systems such as ERP to ensure seamless data flow between systems. * Data Analysis from the system to identify trends, optimize and improve overall warehouse efficiency. * Research and recommend process/procedure and technology improvements within DC system by incorporating both business and technical knowledge. * Provide staff training and technical support for the WMS system and related equipment. Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving on all interfaces of WMS, Material handling systems, RF devices, and other hardware. * Define any risk and suggest mitigation plan as deemed appropriate. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure systems are optimized and meet the needs of the organization. * Develop and maintain system documentation and SOPs. Execute test plans and test environments, to validate functionality against design requirements.
