Job Tasks/Duties -Ensure guest(s) satisfaction and through excellent customer service -Works with Food and Beverage Managers, Banquet Manager, Banquet Chef and others to meet guests needs -Carry out service procedures during all phases of a catered event from setup to breakdown -Assures the neatness, cleanliness and safety of all banquet areas. -Ability to execute table diagrams, guest tables and set-up needs documented in the Banquet Event Order for special functions. -Final breakdown and cleanup of event, including returning equipment to storage and resetting for next event -Ensures compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by the management. Licenses preferred -Alcohol beverage certification. Part-time Description The Banquet Server is responsible for providing food and beverage service to guests during banquet events at Rod ‘N' Reel Resort. This role ensures that guests have a pleasant dining experience by delivering high-quality service and maintaining a clean and organized environment. Qualifications: Background in customer service preferred. Experience in banquets, event management or food and beverage preferred. Availability during peak operating times: weekends, evenings and holidays required. Key Skills: A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations. Core Responsibilities: Assist in setting up banquet rooms, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and table settings. Greet guests, respond to their inquiries, and ensure their needs are met throughout the event. Monitor tables during the event, refilling drinks, clearing plates, and addressing any guest requests. Assist in the breakdown and cleanup of the banquet area after the event, ensuring all equipment and areas are left in good condition. Work closely with other banquet staff and kitchen personnel to ensure smooth service and coordination. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements: Position requires sitting, hand-eye coordination, stooping, kneeling and walking/standing for multiple hours in succession.
