Job Description
The Restaurant Expo and Food Runner keep service moving by making sure food is accurate, organized, and delivered on time. This role connects the kitchen and front-of-house, supports servers, manages Evening Reception flow, and ensures in-room dining orders are handled with care. When it gets busy, you stay focused and move with purpose.
Compensation:
$15.72 hourly
Responsibilities:
Expedite food orders by reviewing tickets for accuracy, timing, and presentation.
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure all items for a table are ready at the same time.
Run food promptly and safely to guests while maintaining proper presentation.
Prepare, organize, and deliver all in-room dining orders accurately and within service time standards.
Communicate clearly with bartenders, kitchen staff, and management regarding delays, modifications, or missing items.
Maintain a clean and organized expo line, service areas, and delivery staging areas.
Assist servers by pre-bussing tables and supporting guest needs as directed.
Manage, monitor, and restock the Evening Reception to ensure food and beverage items remain available, fresh, and presented according to brand standards.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health standards.
Maintain a sense of urgency during peak service periods.
Support teamwork and maintain a positive, professional attitude at all times.
Qualifications:
Prior restaurant or food service experience preferred but not required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while staying organized.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to lift and carry trays or plates up to 30 pounds.
Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

POSITION SUMMARY
