Must maintain cleanliness and organization of host station and assist with stocking, running food, and side work before, during and after each shift. Assist management team in ensuring maximum profitability through daily operations. Ensure compliance of established goals through direction and continual communication. Responsible for seating Guests and controlling the flow of the restaurant. Knowledge of the operation, maintenance, and cleaning procedures for any equipment used in the performance of your job. Effective operation and use of the phone, intercom, paging, and headphone systems. Thoroughly bus and clean tables, booths, and chairs; sort and roll silverware, and preset dining room tables. Ensure that floors are clean and dry. Responsible for assisting with any To Go items including ordering, packaging, and cash handling. Liable and responsible for sales recorded on the register under your host number (i.e., all cash and credit transactions, claiming 100% of tips, maintaining and balancing their drawer and coupon redemption, etc.). Adhere to all current company policies and procedures (i.e., security/emergency procedures, Social Media Policy, etc.). Communicate openly and honestly with all team members and management during periodic team member meetings, pre-meal, pep talks, and reviews. Must know and adhere to all regulations regarding Responsible Service of Alcohol in accordance with our policies and State laws. Knowledge of company and in-store promotions, new product rollouts, and point of sale materials; all menu items and LTO food upgrade items, additions and/or changes. Other duties as assigned. Job Duties: · Greet customers in a friendly manner. · Present menus to customers, inform them of daily specials, and suggest appetizers. · Explain how various menu items are prepared, answer any customer questions. · Take orders from patrons for food or beverages. · Enter food and drink orders into computer system for transmittal to kitchen staff. · Double check food for accuracy and temperature before serving to customer. · Serve food and drinks to customers in a timely manner. · Check with customers periodically during to refill drinks, inquire about satisfaction, and take any actions necessary to correct problems. · Pre-bus tables. · Offer dessert to customers during lunch/dinner time. · Remove dishes and glasses from tables/counter. · Prepare checks and present to customers. · Collect payment from customer and make change in accordance with policies and procedures. · Clean tables/counter after patrons have finished dining. · Perform food preparation duties such as preparing salads, cold dishes, portioning desserts, and brewing coffee/tea. · Stock service area with supplies such as condiments, silverware, etc. · Fill salt, pepper, condiments, napkin containers, etc. · Assist in keeping the restaurant clean and safe. · Perform side duties as required and other duties as requested. · Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement Qualification and Skills: · ServSafe Certification. · Must be friendly and customer focused. · Must have clear written and verbal communication skills. · Ability to comprehend and communicate in fluent English. · Must have the physical ability to carry out the functions of the . · Must be able to responsibly handle cash transactions. · Must be able to consolidate and coordinate needs for all tables. · Must be able to carry food and beverages. · Must be able to work in a team environment. · Must be able to handle stressful situations and maintain composure. · Previous server experience preferred. · High school diploma or GED preferred. Reset event space for upcoming functions as directed by the Banquet Captain or Events Manager. Maintain cleanliness and organization of back-of-house and storage areas. Work closely with the Banquet Captain and fellow servers to ensure smooth service execution. Support colleagues by assisting with side work, replenishing supplies, and keeping service areas organized. Communicate guest comments or concerns promptly and professionally.
