Set up & take down server station according to opening and closing procedures.
Keep immediate supervisor informed of significant issues and take prompt corrective action.
Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working atmosphere.
Keep wait station clean. Monitor cleanliness of restrooms and outside perimeter of building.
Work as a team to ensure all facets of the restaurant are kept clean, safe and organized
Job Qualifications:
Must be able to operate P.O.S. computer system, make change correctly and make credit card transactions accurately.
Able to learn, describe and sell all applicable food and beverage menus.
Must be able to deliver plates, food and clear tables, which may require lifting of up to 30 lbs.
Walk or stand most of 6-8 hour shift.
Must be able to read menu items and speak English.
Able to reach, bend, stoop and perform cleaning duties.
Must be able to hear well with loud background noise, in order respond to guest requests.
Must be able to calmly respond to agitated guests and notify a Manager immediately if the matter cannot be corrected in a timely manner.
Must be able to clearly communicate guest's needs to other employees including bussers, host, and Manager.

About the Venue
The Terre Haute Convention Center opened in the spring of 2022. It offers more than 12,000 sq. ft. of flexible ballroom space with the ability to seat up to 1000 attendees for a large general session or 700 for a formal dinner. With the flexibility of the space, planners have the ability to host a full conference with meals and breakout sessions. The convention center will have on-site catering, audio-visual services, professional event staff and event planning, and first-class service. Attendees from the region and afar will enjoy the convenience of the connected hotels and parking garages, making location and ease for guests more than ideal for conventions.
