Entering and leaving Golden Corral are two of the most critical moments in the guest's experience because lasting impressions are formed during these moments. The Cashier / Host's interactions with our guests and these impressions ultimately dictate whether the guest will return.
Guest Service:
Greets guests as they enter the restaurant and offers a sincere, personal invitation to return as the guests leave.
Offers assistance to any guests who may need help.
Processes GC On the Go To-Go orders.
Friendly and courteous on the phone.
Handles payments accurately.
Knows and follows position responsibilities as they relate to just-in-time delivery.
Knows what is on buffet for the day and has a full knowledge of menu and prices.
Cleanliness:
Maintains organization and cleanliness at the vestibule, host/cashier station and surrounding areas.
May help ensure the buffet is set up properly and labels are correct. Cleans all buffets and surrounding areas.
Follows local health department laws.
Performs duty roster and ensures cleanliness, service, and quality standards are met.
Operational Excellence:
Informs the Manager when the money in the drawer needs to be taken to the safe to reduce the risk of robbery.
Ensures drawer balances with daily paperwork.

Responsibilities
Welcome guests warmly upon arrival, acknowledge them by name if possible, and thank them for choosing our restaurant.
Manage the flow of guests by taking names, managing reservations, and estimating wait times, and communicate delays or special requests to guests with courtesy and professionalism.
Escort guests to their tables, provide menus, and assist with seating arrangements to accommodate parties of varying sizes and preferences.
Answer phone calls and inquiries from guests regarding reservations, availability, and dining options, and assist with booking and confirming reservations as needed.
Maintain an organized and up-to-date reservation book or system, record guest preferences and special requests, and communicate relevant information to the service and kitchen staff.
Coordinate with the kitchen and service teams to ensure timely seating and efficient turnover of tables, while maintaining a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for guests.
Provide information about the restaurant, including menus, specials, promotions, and amenities, and answer questions about ingredients, dietary restrictions, and meal preparation methods.
Anticipate guests' needs and preferences and provide proactive assistance and recommendations to enhance their dining experience.
Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and courteously, and escalate unresolved issues to the management team for resolution.

Responsibilities
Follow, enforce, comply, and adhere to all Omni Louisville Hotel and Bob's Steak & Chop House rules, policies, procedures, standards, and recipes always.
Service all guests in the dining room and contribute to a positive, memorable guest experience.
Properly set up the entire restaurant
Completely understand and execute bussing standards.
Completely understand the menu
Promptly and accurately deliver food and beverages to all sections of the restaurant and bar.
Be friendly and helpful with all guests. Use surnames whenever possible.
Comply with food handling standards.
Inspect one's station in the restaurant to ensure it is immaculate in both cleanliness and presentation.

Qualifications
