The primary role of the Server is ensure the guest has a memorable experience by providing excellent customer service, answer questions regarding menu items, upselling menu items, taking food and drink orders and delivering food to the table. Responsibilities Ensuring the table is clean and set with clean utensils in the proper configuration. Greeting the guests at their table in a timely fashion. Ensuring the guests have drinks and time to decide on their order. Taking the orders accurately and conveying it to the kitchen. Monitoring their tables and ensuring their guests always have drinks and are generally satisfied. Getting food from the kitchen when it's prepared and getting it to the guests. Ensuring all meals are satisfactory to the guests. Returning to clear the table when guests are done eating, and asking if there is anything else that can be provided. Qualifications High school education or Equivalent Must be of legal age to serve alcohol Self-motivated and customer service oriented Strong oral and written communication skills Clean and professional appearance Adept in following food safety practices Detail oriented Ability to work on your feet for at least 8 hours at a time and lift at least 60 lbs Team oriented Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays- especially Saturdays. Prior serving experience is desired but willing to train someone with a great presence, friendly smile and outgoing personality. Must have excellent communication skills, basic math skills and attention to detail.
