A Day in the Life of a Banquet Server
As a banquet server you will prepare your station and stock supplies necessary to ensure timely delivery of guest services. You will take pride in coordinating service activities within a given area of the event venue while ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of food and beverages to our guests. You will focus on positive and efficient guest interaction. You will take pride in maintaining high service standards. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with other personnel to review and comment on recipes and menu development. You will have the ability to engage with guests to foster ongoing relationships and to gather feedback related to the quality of our product and services.

This position provides a high-quality catering service for banquets, concessions, coffee cart, and events.

Serves food to guests with a high level of customer service.
Must understand and practice the concept of teamwork.
Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness in all areas of the Convention Center.
Must strive to provide guest with a memorable experience and exceed their expectations by anticipating their needs.
Assist with collecting all banquet equipment including flatware, China, glassware, and serving pieces needed for each event.
Prepared garnishes, beverages, condiments, and breads.
Clean and fill salt and pepper containers, sugar dishes, creamers, etc.
Assist with the preparation and set-up of the event room when necessary.
Prepare tables with place settings as instructed.
Establish and maintain positive client relationships.
Breakdown tables and banquet equipment after each event.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions
