Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
* Complete all tasks as assigned by the banquet manager or supervisor on duty. Check-in for assignments upon arrival.
* Check banquet event orders daily for name of group, time of event and number of guests attending.
* Be familiar with the responsibilities, operations and policies of the Banquet department.
* Ensure that side stations are well stocked.
* Ensure that tablecloths are clean, free from stains and holes, flatware polished and evenly spaced, chairs are clean, and that china and napkins are properly set.
* Serve food and beverages using established, formal serving techniques, as detailed in the training manual.
* Attend roll call or pre-shift for any detailed instructions.
* Remove dishes from table and clean-up after meals.
* Clean and organize cabinets, carts and any refrigerators used in department.
* Answer questions regarding style, presentation, and quality of all food and beverages.
* Take the guests' food and drink orders.
* Open wine bottle and pour wine, refilling glasses as needed.
* Observe guests' progress and respond in a timely way to their needs.
* Carry orders on a tray to the table and serve to the correct person.
* Maintain assigned table and station cleanliness, tidiness and order.
* Close side work, cleaning areas used and re-stocking supplies, in preparation for following day's business.
* Assist in setting tables, set-up and break down special events and evening banquets, to include moving tables, chairs and other furniture as necessary.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Take accurate food and beverage orders from the members and guests and input into point of sale (POS) system without errors or collecting signatures on guest checks.
Mix drinks, cocktails and other bar beverages as ordered and in compliance with company standard.
Maintaining proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling member and guests needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses.
Assisting with special events as needed.
Understands and can communicate products and services available at the Club.
