General Summary of Job Duties: The Pool Cocktail Server will be responsible for providing efficient and friendly service to all guests and fulfilling guest orders for food and beverages while maintaining a clean and safe environment. They will also adhere to all health and safety regulations and assist in setting up and closing the bar area.
Principle Responsibilities and Duties:
Responsible for setting the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service.
Take orders and serve food and drinks efficiently and accurately in work area as applicable.
Check for proper identification of a person who is under the age of 35.
Place order, garnish and serve cocktails to guests.
Talk and interact with guests to maintain great Guest relationships and provide opportunities for loyalty.
Maintain complete knowledge of menu items, liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic selections available.
Knowledge of hotel services, features, local attractions, and activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.
Perform opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment to include fold/stack cocktail napkins, stock swizzle sticks, straws, matches, line cocktail trays, stock glassware, restock supply cabinet, inspect cleanliness and condition of assigned station and service areas; rectify any deficiencies.

Skills, Education & Other Requirements:
Prior experience in food and beverage service is preferred but not required.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and multitask environment.
Must be willing to comply with employee appearance standards including wearing a swimsuit and high heels.
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
