The Food Runner transports food from the main line to the guest, serves bread and butter and assists the line with set up by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following, other duties may be assigned)
Transports food from main line to guest tables.
Interacts with guests in a professional, energetic, and friendly manner.
Sets up the line with plates, condiments, and other garnishments.
Learns and memorizes table and seat numbers to serve successfully.
Maintains a knowledge of the menu and allergy policies.
Ensures dishes are plated properly and satisfactory before serving and sends back to line if not.
Works closely with servers, bartenders, and chef to ensure the guest receives the correct dish.
Communicates with supervisor, manager and servers regarding any guest complaints or requests.
Communicates with serves and bartenders on sold out items and low counts on food.
Retrieves dirty dishes and breaks them down at the dish pit.
Maintains a basic knowledge of food presentation, quality assurance and food allergy procedures.
Works closely with the chef, line cooks and chefs to ensure quality and presentation standards.
Cleans walls, rugs and floors on the front line.
Restocks and rotates stock for the next shift.
Assists with expedited food during slow periods and side work at the end of each shift.

What You'll Do
Do you love banquets and catering? In this role, you'll provide timely and courteous service to all banquet guests, encouraging the guest to return again and facilitate outstanding banquet experiences. Some cashier experience preferred. Good math skills (i.e. ability to make change) and competence with computer programs to perform the checker tasks.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Requires practice of proper health sanitation. Must physically be able to lift 10-20 pounds numerous times during the day and up to 50 pounds frequently, some items are lifted above waist level. Must be able to push and pull 150 pounds frequently. Requires frequent and repetitive bending, reaching, twisting, and turning. Requires frequent walking and long periods of time standing.

Job Summary:
Killington/Pico Ski Resort and the Killington Grand Hotel hosts a variety of banquets such as quaint weddings for 25 people to extravagant weddings for 400, to conferences for 500+ attendees to feeding the 100's of athletes and coaches for the FIS International Women's World Cup event! With banquets held in the Ballrooms of the Killington Grand Hotel to the Peak Lodge and everywhere in between, the Banquets team works closely with Events and Food and Beverage Teams to put-on first-class events with unmatched attention to detail and guest service.
Banquet Servers are responsible for greeting, assisting, and serving guests at special functions and events throughout the resort. The banquet Server will help assist with event setups, preparation, and clean up, serve guests, and respond to questions, complaints, and requests. Summary of Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Interact with guests in a pleasant and positive manner; listen to comments and complaints and respond accordingly
Setting up and breaking down event areas: placing tables, chairs, bars, place settings, etc.
Take orders and serve food and beverages in a variety of styles: plated, buffet, flash, etc.
Ensure clean and tidy areas for service
Attend pre-shift meetings to ensure events flow smoothly

Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by captain
Monitor tableware to ensure it is presentable to guests
Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas

Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness in all areas of the Meeting Rooms
