Job Description: Set up fresh, eye appealing displays that promote sales for the bistro. Stock all food and supplies to meet the needs of the unit. Act as a liaison for the Nutrition Department and St. Elizabeth Healthcare when serving customers and associates. Process orders accurately and offer assistance as needed. Communicate in a professional caring manner when serving customers. Efficient handling of cash register duties and follow proper accounting and cash handling practices to provide accuracy with all transactions, and follow all opening and closing procedures Assemble and prepare food items for the bistro, physician lounge and café as required. Operate and maintain bistro equipment. Report any equipment concerns and repair needs in a timely manner. Compliance with all local, state, federal and medical center regulatory, safety, sanitation and security standards. Participate in performance improvement (PI) studies; assist with data collection and supports action plans. Performs other duties as assigned.
