Usually, servers don't need a college education. The most common degree for servers is bachelor's degree with 40% graduates, with only 30% server graduates earning high school diploma. Servers who decided to graduate from college often finish University of Phoenix or University of Central Florida. Some good skills to have in this position include wine, customer service and guest satisfaction.

Popular server certifications include Certified Professional - Food Safety (CP-FS), Food Safety Manager Certification, or Certified Food Manager (CFM). To improve server qualification and skills, we prepared some online courses to help in server education paths.
