The Host is a tipped position that plays a key role in setting the tone for each guests visit, providing a friendly and attentive greeting, coordinating seating to optimize both the guest experience and the efficiency of service. Essential Responsibilities
Guest Reception and Services

This position could also be cross trained with our cashier position.

Coordinate with servers and management to ensure smooth table transition.
Team Support and Communication
Relay guest requests, special occasions, and dietary needs to a appropriate staff members.
Assist with opening and closing procedures, along with side work throughout shift.
Assist with front-of-house setup, organization, and upkeep during service.
Support overall flow of the dining room, helping to maintain a calm, inviting atmosphere.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous hosting or customer service experience in restaurant or hospitality environment preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
