Be sure to communicate with the customers of wait times, for example, why a party of 2 is being sat in front of a large party still waiting. Communication keeps the lobby peaceful • Inform the manager on duty of any issues that may have arrived such as overlapping reservations, long wait times, or issues with guests • Always make yourself available to customers for any needs they may have. • Keep restaurant clean at all times including but not limited to tables, floors, bathrooms, lobby, counters, pictures, etc. • Answer the phone and take appropriate action for the call • Retail selling of Merchandise • Pre-bus and bus tables as soon as possible • Be available to assist the servers when they need drinks, salads, etc. • In general, it is critical to stay busy.
