Must be able to prepare standard mixed drinks quickly, accurately, and without significant waste.
Must be able to push/pull beverage cart through the casino. The cart is in excess of 300 pounds when fully stocked, and requires 25 - 27 pounds of force to initiate movement. It requires 15-20 pounds of force to push/pull and turn the cart around the casino.
Must be able to bend, stoop and twist when serving drinks.
Must be able to carry a tray of at least 10 drinks, with one hand while walking the casino floor, and deliver drinks while carrying the tray. A fully loaded tray weighs between 15-20 pounds.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a standard Mixology certification.
Must keep beverage cart clean and sanitary.
Must be available to work a flexible schedule which may include: nights, weekends, holidays and overtime if needed.
Maintain excellent customer service and communication skills
Provide fast, friendly, professional beverage service to casino guests
Actively promote casino events and programs
Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and intervene as needed according to Responsible Alcohol Management training and property guidelines
Must possess the ability to engage in both tray service and beverage cart service depending on guest volumes and business needs.
Must not leave cart unattended.
Must be able to work in areas containing secondhand smoke and high noise levels.
Must have basic math skills in order to count money and present change correctly
Able to perform other various duties as assigned.
