Duties and Responsibilities:
· Greet all guests in a warm and enthusiastic manner and assist host or hostess in seating guests as needed.

· Memorize menu selections and wines including being familiar with daily specials and basic ingredients.
· Write order on check or memorize order.
· Relay order to kitchen and service bar utilizing point of sale system.
· Observe guests to fulfill any additional request and to perceive when meal has been completed for guest checkout.
· Total bill and accept payment or refer guest to cashier.
· Clear and reset counters or table at conclusion of each course.
· Assist in cleaning and wiping down of service areas and prep areas.
· Notify a manager immediately of any guest complaints.
· Practice and observe all safety rules and procedures.
· Maintain and follow all cash handling procedures.
Requirements:

Report any maintenance and/or safety issues promptly to the Restaurant Manager.
Maintain all equipment and be sure it is properly handled and maintained.
Ensure the department complies with all government, safety, health, and security standards.

Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least one (1) year of previous serving experience in a full service environment, preferably at a fast paced, high end restaurant, club, or resort.
Knowledge of HACCP & local food safety standards; possesses or can obtain State Food Safety Certificate.
Robust knowledgeable of wines and beverage.
Extraordinary attention to detail, quality and service.
