+ Support AWTX training team with feedback to facilitate future versions of documentation and/or materials.
+ Maintain and enhance the relationship with AWTX Platinum Distributors service organizations.
+ Responsible for territory sales and financial reporting. Ability to review financial reporting material to develop territory sales plans.
+ Submit periodic regional sales outlook reports.
+ Ability to relay complex technical concepts to be easily digestible to non-technical trainees.
+ Manage travel and entertainment budget as required to grow sales in assigned territory.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in technical field such as Engineering and/or equivalence experience
+ 3 - 5+ years Technical Support, Engineering, and/or QA
+ Mechanical, Electrical, and Software aptitude and troubleshooting skills
+ Must be proactive and display a high level of initiative
+ Demonstrated customer service skills
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office Products to include Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Pivot, and PowerPoint

Summary of Responsibility: The CNC Capital Equipment Sales Engineer will be responsible for the full-cycle sales activity in the Northern Ohio territory for all current and future customers. You will work with our internal support departments and our suppliers to provide various manufacturing solutions to the territory. We provide CNC metal cutting manufacturing solutions across various industries, including but not limited to, Medical, Aerospace, Tool & Die, Mold, Industrial and Job Shop.
The primary focus of this newly created role will be to sell Makino Horizontal, Vertical, and 5 Axis machines and their full complement of Wire and Sinker EDMs.
What You Will Contribute:
Develop new and strengthen existing relationships with customers, prospects, and suppliers.
Generate opportunities for quotation by providing continuous support and recommendations to new and existing customers.
Lead projects, demonstrations, and other customer related events to ensure timely completion and efficient prioritization of resources.
Prepare and present machine solutions for customer specific applications
Enter activity into the CRM system (Salesforce.com)
Develop an in-depth knowledge of the machine tool industry and product lines represented by the company.
