This is an on-call, districtwide position for Nutrition Services Substitutes Pool with varying shifts and duties for the 2025-2026 school year. Jobs can be at any school in the district and can range from 2-7 hours. Applications will be screened, and, if selected, applicants will be notified as to the next steps by Nutrition Services.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Assist kitchen manager, kitchen lead, and/or cook in the performance of a variety of tasks, including: food storage, preparation, serving, clean-up, POS (point-of-sale) meal/sales accounting (secondary only), follow recipes, and completing production records daily. Follow meal programming nutritional and food safety guidelines as established by Federal-USDA, State and District mandates.
COMPENSATION:
Initial wage placement according to NCSD/OSEA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
HOURLY RATES: (25-26 SY) B2 - $18.19 per hour
Retirement Plan Contributions
North Clackamas School District participates in the Oregon Public Employee Retirement System (PERS and OPSRP) on behalf of its employees. The district contributes the employer portion; there is also a mandatory employee portion. Upon eligibility, which is defined as working at least six full calendar months in a qualifying position, the employee is required to contribute 6% as their employee portion, via payroll deduction. Part-time employees working at least six months and 600 hours in a calendar year will qualify.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Successful experience in working with culturally diverse families/communities; or demonstrated commitment to strengthening engagement of a diverse community, and skill in communicating with a diverse population.
Graduation from high school or equivalent, or at least two years of nutrition experience may substitute for the education requirement.
Ability to communicate and maintain good working relations with other employees, students, community representatives, school staff and nutrition services management.
Initiative and ability to follow directions and training from senior personnel, and make sound and logical decisions.
Ability to: follow required production planners for effective food preparation and service; read and comprehend recipes and directions for equipment use.
Maintain valid Food Handlers Card.
Customer service skills.
Basic computer skills; possess or receive meal-computer/point-of-sale (POS) training.
Ability to pass pre-placement drug and physical examinations.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Food Preparation: a. Store food and equipment in specified locations.
b. Read and comprehend recipes and follow directions for numbers of meals to be served.
c. Gather cooking materials; weigh, measure and mix ingredients.
d. Slice, chop, dice and otherwise prepare food products for cooking.
e. Assist with food preparation/cooking in accordance with program standards, which include food safety standards (i.e.: food stored/prepared/cooked /held/served at proper temperatures).
f. Follow required production planners for effective food preparation and service; read and comprehend recipes and directions for equipment use.
g. Learn and follow regulations/guidelines of School Meal Programs and other associated programs.
Responsible for completing production record daily. 2. Food Service, Cleaning, and Maintenance: a. Provide assistance/help to prepare, place and present menus according to set standards, which include merchandising/marketing standards.
b. Serve food according to set standards that include portion control and customer-service standards.
c. Provide assistance to secure food, supplies and equipment; protect against loss, theft, or abuse.
d. Assist in cleaning cooking surfaces, floors, materials, utensils, pots and pans, etc.
e. Participate in salad bar set-up and dishwashing.
f. Assist with maintaining program record requirements.
g. Sub/fill-in other positions when needed.
h. Attend scheduled training. 3. Secondary Schools: Operate POS meal computer.

About the Position
Springfield Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our Special Education team as a Transition Assistant - Instructional Resource. This position is responsible for case management and provision of specific services preparing youth for postsecondary training, job exploration counseling, work-based learning experience, workplace readiness training, and self-advocacy. This position coordinates with the Transition Team, Special Education Teachers, Counselors, Administrators, the Youth Services Coordinator, and Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor to identify and refer eligible students to VR or other transitional agencies to ensure compliance with the Pre-ETS contract. This position is also responsible for recording and maintaining performance benchmarks for the YTP database as required by the grant, including follow-up data.
Key Responsibilities
Student Transition Support:
Identify eligible students for Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS).
Assist in developing and implementing individualized transition plans.
Provide vocational counseling and one-on-one support to students.
Coordinate with Vocational Rehabilitation Services and other external agencies.
Instructional and Behavioral Support:
Develop and supervise life skills lessons both on and off-campus.
Support students with academic assignments in reading, math, and writing.
Model and assist students in developing social and safety skills in community settings.
Assist students in managing behaviors and resolving conflicts.
Program Supervision:
Supervise students in various work-based learning experiences, including on-campus enterprises like the coffee cart and SPS Farm.
Manage the CTP Coffee Cart at Springfield City Hall.
Assist with lunch supervision and other duties as directed.
Transportation and Off-Campus Activities:
Transport students to activities, work sites, and events using district vehicles.
Lead and supervise exercise groups and swimming activities off-campus.
External Collaboration:
Communicate and coordinate services with outside agencies and businesses.
Serve as a resource for students in finding information on work experience placements, job shadowing, driver's permits/licenses, social security cards, etc.
Safety and Compliance:
Report safety, sanitary, and fire hazards immediately to the supervisor or appropriate authorities.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Associate's degree or higher; OR
Completion of two years post-secondary study (72 credit hours or 48 semester units); OR

RCC, or the Regional Crisis Center, is a subacute residential facility where youth are placed directly from the Department of Human Services. RCC provides residential living facilities, mental health treatment, family counseling, substance use disorders treatment, and academic instruction to clients. RCC clients are often combative and have multiple mental or behavioral challenges. RCC uses verbal de-escalation tactics as well as treatments such as seclusion rooms and full-body restraints when necessary to ensure the safety of our clients.
Eligibility for a QMHA certification is preferred. You must have prior experience working with combative at-risk youth, preferably in a residential setting OR experience working in a challenging, high-paced environment that can be applicable to this line of work. The ability to maintain strong professional boundaries and confidentiality is a must. You must also be able to pass crisis intervention training within your first month of employment. The Regional Crisis Center uses specific manual restraints as specified by the state, and the ability to perform these restraints is essential to the position.

POSITION OVERVIEW: The Laboratory Support Services Assistant at St. Charles Health System provides support services for St. Charles Health System Laboratories. This position provides excellent customer service by: answering all incoming calls, providing information about specimen requirements, ordering tests, handling courier dispatch and monitoring standing and pending outpatient lab orders. The Assistant will assure clean lab claims are processed. This position does not directly manage any other caregivers, however may be asked to review and provide feedback on the work of other caregivers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:
Assists with the maintenance of chargeable codes and with identifying charging rules in the Laboratory Information Systems (LIS). Assists with new and revised test change requests.
Assists and coordinates with information services and the charge master team on all laboratory specific charge codes, pricing and charge master maintenance.
Supports the supervisor with updates to procedures, training and competencies.
Performs laboratory office functions (i.e., fax, telephone, distribute reports, data entry, etc.).
Provides voice to voice client services. Communicates priority results to providers, clients and patients assuring excellent patient care. Uses correct resources to find test information.
Assures proper documentation of tests billed from LIS for all patient types according to hospital policies. Monitors, prepares and maintains bills to SCHS laboratory clients and helps reconcile monthly invoices for services provided.
Reviews monthly reference lab invoices and submits for payment in a timely manner. Identifies issues and completes resolutions for discrepancies with charges or payments. Notifies lab management when appropriate.
Prioritize duties and performs accurate and timely completion of follow up tasks, and add-on tests according to urgency of need and type of tests ordered. Navigates through multiple complex computer systems to meet testing requirements and verify specimen integrity.
Properly dispatches and communicates with Laboratory couriers for all stat and routine requests.
Uses all systems and approved websites necessary to perform charge capture audits, specimen registrations, pre-billing edits, resolution for lab denials and simple visit coding. Troubleshoots identified issues. Makes corrections timely and according to policies assuring clean lab claims are submitted. Notifies patient financials and supervisor for unresolved issues when necessary to assure correct and timely billing.
Monitors, resolves and completes follow up tasks and work queues for result reporting errors, order issues and discrepancies, registration and charge exception issues. Documents and makes corrections according to procedures, notifies supervisor and IT when appropriate for unresolved system issues.
Manages data entry and resolution of lab errors. Maintains Access database. Creates and maintains files and graphs to monitor caregiver monthly performance with key indicators, reports findings in a timely manner to lab management according to procedure.
Understands and accurately quotes lab tests prices. Refers all requests for updated price lists to supervisor.

Job Summary
The Division of Extension and Engagement is seeking a Master Gardener Coordinator for the Extension Agriculture and Natural Resources Program in Wasco County. This is a full-time (1.00 FTE ), 12-month, professional faculty position.
This Master Gardener and Community Horticulture Coordinator is with the Division of Extension and Engagement's (division) Extension Agriculture and Natural Resources program and based at the OSU Extension Wasco County office on the Columbia Gorge Community College campus in The Dalles, Oregon. The position's extension activities are closely aligned with the Department of Horticulture in the College of Agricultural Sciences and serves Wasco County. Decisions regarding this position are made in collaboration with the supervisory team, which includes the Central Regional Director and the Extension Agriculture & Natural Resources Program Leader.
This Outreach Program Coordinator will provide leadership and coordination for the Wasco County Master Gardener and Community Horticulture programs. This responsibility includes needs assessment, extension non-credit program and educational material development, delivery, facilitation, and evaluation in noxious weeds and integrated pest management, community gardens, wildfire-resilient landscapes, and other community horticulture related needs of Wasco County communities.
This professional faculty member is expected to develop non-credit educational programming, either for delivery personally or through volunteers or other collaborators. In this role, the Master Gardener Coordinator manages the full volunteer program lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training, scheduling, supervision, and retention; supports volunteer team leads; addresses volunteer issues as they arise; and works in close partnership with the local Master Gardener Association.
This Master Gardener Coordinator is responsible for designing, developing, maintaining and/or carrying out non-credit educational programs and outreach activities to serve broad and diverse populations in an accessible, inclusive, equitable, and socially just manner. This includes complying with civil rights and language/visual access regulations.
OSU is committed to advancing and applying state-of-the-science tools that foster meaningful interaction and engagement with partners and stakeholders. This professional faculty member is required to use modern learning and outreach tools including online and hybrid classes, multimedia and digital communications, employ and practice engaged scholarship, promote integration of programs across disciplines that are demand-driven and use open-source tools that continually align with innovation and shifts in educational program delivery. Technical & Teaching
