Job Brief:
An Office Assistant/ Errand Runner is responsible for performing a range of clerical and administrative tasks to support daily operations in an office setting. An Office Assistant is responsible for keeping the office supplied and organized, and assisting managers with their daily tasks, as assigned. To fulfill these duties, this assistant will need to frequently run errands. The ideal candidate will be hard-working, professional, able to undertake a variety of office support tasks, and work diligently under pressure. Training for office tasks will be provided. Responsibilities:
Running Errands, such as bank deposits, shopping - ranging from groceries to electronic supplies -, picking up and dropping off documents and supplies for company executives. May occasionally drive executives to airports or meetings.
General office duties, such as answering and managing phone calls, copying, scanning, and filing.
Opening and closing procedures for the office, such as filling paper in the printer and fax machines, minor cleaning, refilling supplies for office staff (i.e. staplers, pens, highlighters), watering plants, putting away dishes, etc.
Internet research for purchasing office supplies.
Monitor level of supplies and handle shortages.
Perform receptionist duties when needed.
Maintaining confidentiality in all aspects of company information.
Other duties as required.
