What We're Looking For:
Knowledge:
Oregon Electrician's license (LME, PJ, J) or license from a reciprocal state (OR, WA, ID, WY, MN, UT, ME, AR)
Experience:
AC & DC motor control experience (including drives) required.
Electrical troubleshooting experience required.
Ability to use standard test and troubleshooting equipment (DMM, VOM, Megger, etc.).
Ability to troubleshoot with PLC's (Allen Bradley Control Logix).
Strong industrial mechanical millwright experience/skills preferred. Must be willing to perform millwright duties as part of their regular job duties.
Familiarity with the basic functions of a CMMS system preferred.

* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical installations

* Identify and help implement process improvements to optimize performance and production

* Work may consist of overtime during busy production times
Qualifications
* 2 years' recent verifiable related work history or equivalent education

* Familiarity with programmable logic controllers and their programming, preferable
* Read and understand blueprints and circuit diagrams

We are looking for full-time Electrician and PLC Technician with previous lumber and/or manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (Minimum Qualifications)
Oregon state issues electrical license, 2 year (LME) or better.
PJ (Plant Journeyman) or (General Journeyman) License (not required, but a plus!).
Experience with LVL (laminated veneer lumber) or Lumber Industry (not required, but a plus!).
Be able to read and understand electrical schematics.
Prior training and experience with PLC programming and Instrumentation.
Prior experience with HMI programming.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Ensure all electrical work is in compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Maintain a strong commitment to safety protocols, identifying and addressing potential hazards.
Install and maintain electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in accordance with local and national codes.
Follow electrical blueprints, schematics, and specifications to determine the layout of electrical wiring and equipment.
Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, and identify potential issues.
Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to ensure safety and efficiency.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems, providing effective and timely solutions.
Leadership Responsibilities
Supervision and Leadership: Oversee the daily activities of the electrical team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule.
Team Coordination: Assign tasks and responsibilities to electricians, apprentices, and other team members, ensuring optimal workflow and productivity.
Mentorship: Provide training, guidance, and support to apprentice electricians and service technicians to enhance their skills and performance.
Quality Control: Monitor the quality of work performed by the team, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for contractors, clients, and other departments regarding electrical installations, repairs, and project progress.
Safety Oversight: Ensure adherence to safety protocols, addressing and mitigating potential hazards on the job site.
Compliance: Ensure all electrical work complies with local electrical codes, regulations, and national standards, particularly for temporary installations.
Technical Tasks:
Install and maintain electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures according to blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, to identify and address potential issues.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot electrical problems, delivering timely and effective solutions.
Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of all work performed, including materials used, hours worked, and completed tasks.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Requirements
High school diploma or GED.
Valid Supervising Journeyman Electrician License.
3 years' experience managing 10 or more employees across more than one location.
OR 2 years of electrical experience with WillScot
MS Office/Excel/Word/Outlook experience
Experience working directly with customers by phone and email.
Strong customer service orientation, active listening, excellent oral/written communication
Ability follow direction and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience applying creativity to problem-solving.
Build sustainable relationships and trust with vendors through open, proactive communication.
Ability to effectively manage multiple, changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Bachelor's degree preferred.

What this job involves:
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Maintenance Electrician to join our facilities team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment across our facility to ensure safe, efficient operations and compliance with all applicable codes and regulations.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Perform routine maintenance, inspection, and repair of electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, motors, and control systems. Troubleshoot electrical problems using appropriate testing equipment and diagnostic techniques.
Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and service requests to minimize operational disruptions. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment conditions. Coordinate with other trades and contractors on electrical aspects of larger projects. Participate in preventive maintenance programs and energy conservation initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Current Oregon Electrical License (General Journey Level, Plant Journeyman, or LME).
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical maintenance.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, schematics, and NEC requirements.
Proficiency with electrical testing equipment including multimeters, and power quality analyzers.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex electrical problems independently.
Experience with PLCs, motor controls, and building automation systems preferred.
Strong safety awareness and commitment to following lockout/tagout procedures.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and work in various positions including standing, kneeling, and overhead work. Comfortable working at heights using ladders and aerial lifts. Availability for on-call rotation and emergency response as needed.
