Job Summary Loenbro is looking for Journeyman Electricians in the Nashville, TN area. This is a project position for candidates who have a passion for safety, a initiative-taker, and who have experience in a heavy commercial and industrial environment. The Journeyman Electrician will work independently or as part of a team which will be responsible for the installation, start-up, troubleshooting, commissioning, and servicing of industrial equipment and systems. Essential Job Responsibilities Capable of reading and understanding overview drawings, one-line drawings, and electrical schematics. Ability to layout conduit, cable tray, and overall jobsite installations. Work with and train apprentices on the job. Serve existing accounts by analyzing work orders; planning daily travel schedule; investigating complaints; conducting tests; resolving problems. Minimum Qualifications Required: Minimum Journeyman Skill level experience in commercial or industrial electrical system Must be dependable, work hard and willing to put in the hours needed. Must be willing to submit to pre-employment screening, including criminal background check and drug screen. Must be 18 years of age or older Preferred: Have excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Basic computer knowledge Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Potential exposure to extreme cold and hot temperatures Limited working surfaces Exposure to noise above 85 decibels and intense odors Exposure to areas with limited visibility Climbing up and down stairs and ladders to both get in and out of trenches and up to elevated platforms (scaffolding at significant heights) Lifting necessary equipment and materials 1-50 pounds, 50% of the time monthly for required tasks If driving is required, a valid driver's license and proof of insurability is required. All drivers are subject to a DMV background records search. This role requires compliance with all applicable safety regulations, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and Loenbro's Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) policies.
