Experience with medium voltage switchgear (13,200 volt) and double ended substations (480v) maintenance and service preferred. Includes in-depth knowledge of specialized testing and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot electrical related issues in a commercial or industrial setting. Experience leading project teams, supervising contract work, and developing written work instructions. Experience with project estimating preferred. Good computer skills - proficient with Microsoft Office suite, internet application, email. Proficient at operating all computer equipment associated with assigned equipment or systems. Possess good writing and critical thinking skills. Must be able to originate instruction documents that can be used by other technicians to perform preventive maintenance or verify electrical system operation. Direct teams in installing and repairing electrical equipment on cell phone towers and associated ground buildings Work closely with construction crews and Project Managers to meet deadlines Advise teams on performing routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems Be responsible for the electrical installation that meets client standards for the quality of work, ensuring inspections are passed Be knowledgeable of all aspects of electrical construction materials and control equipment that make up the field installation part of a cell tower site Interprets drawings, sketches, software, plans and determines best work procedures, tools, equipment needed to troubleshoot and repair problems Inspect cell tower and civil installations for compliance with plans and specifications, point out deficiencies, coach and take corrective action as needed Provides training, direction, and mentorship to our Electrical Apprentice/Construction Crews Promote safety on the jobsite in connection with the installation and service work Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles and installs electrical conduit; weld supports; install cable and duct banks; make terminations Qualifications: Be a licensed Journeyman Electrician (Class A) or Master Licensed Electrician Experience in the construction industry, telecom industry experience is a plus Ability to work in a team environment with construction crews, Project Managers, and Foremen Work in all weather conditions Have a valid Driver's License Triad Associates Inc. is a division of Concordia Group.
