SFMC Home Lending is currently hiring for a Loan Officer Associate. The Loan Officer Associate provides assistance to a designated Loan Officer(s) in originating and processing loans. Duties include: Following up on leads for potential borrowers Assisting the Loan Officer in pre-qualifying potential borrowers Coordinating receipt of a complete and accurate loan application package Communicating effectively and quickly to all parties, both internally and externally, about timelines and expectations to ensure all loans close on time Following up with borrowers for items needed for loan submission Execution of disclosures and submission of loan file for processing Manage the Loan Officer(s) calendar, including follow-up, appointment setting and time blocking as appropriate. Manage the CRM, including follow-ups with warm leads and closed loans. Pipeline management, including scheduled pipeline reviews, daily tracking and weekly status calls to customers. Utilization of designated Sales tools and reporting methods Requirements Texas NMLS License is required Weekend Availability required High School diploma or equivalent. 3+ years of mortgage experience or related position. Knowledge and understanding of the lending process, federal and state law, and various loan products and guidelines. Skills: Excellent customer service skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong written and oral communication skills, including interpersonal skills. Attention to detail. Maintain cost and quantity records, analyze data, and generate reports for project management using established digital tools. Monitor subcontractor performance for compliance with project drawings, specifications, and standards. Administer change notices and amendments; review and audit subcontractor progress payment requests. Maintain current subcontractor schedules as assigned. Oversee installation of materials and equipment to ensure adherence to design and quality requirements. Contribute to constructability reviews and capture lessons learned. May provide input for performance reviews of assigned personnel. Education & Experience Requirements Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related scientific discipline, accompanied by experience that supports understanding of construction engineering principles. Additional coursework in construction management, contract law, or mathematics is preferred, along with experience that supports the technical competencies of the role. Required Knowledge & Skills Working knowledge of at least one engineering discipline, as well as contract administration, cost control, and scheduling for large industrial construction projects. Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications aligned with company software standards. Awareness of environmental regulations and compliance requirements. Conceptualize and co-develop innovative product designs that align with the brand identity and target market. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, including marketing objectives, budget constraints, and technical specifications. Create sketches, renderings, and 3D models to communicate design concepts effectively. Conduct research on materials, manufacturing processes, and industry trends to inform design decisions. Develop partnerships with industry leaders in emerging technologies to expand and augment our product offerings. Iterate designs based on feedback from stakeholders, usability testing, and market research. Collaborate with Engineering to ensure new designs hit intended objectives. Ensure designs comply with regulatory standards and specifications. Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to oversee the production process and resolve any design-related issues. Stay updated on emerging technologies and design tools to enhance efficiency and creativity. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or related field. Master's degree preferred. Proven experience as an industrial designer in the retail industry, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects. Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, SolidWorks, Rhino, or AutoCAD. Excellent sketching and visualization skills to communicate design concepts effectively. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and construction techniques. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with tight deadlines. Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate design concepts to stakeholders. Creative problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
