    As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of CenTrak's hardware infrastructure, tags, and other devices at our customer sites. This is a highly visible customer facing position for a detail-oriented person who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You must be a focused individual able to work responsibly for us. This is a hands-on position that requires you to be very proactive and energetic to develop and maintain positive customer relationships. It is the responsibility of the Field Services team to keep these complex systems operating at an optimal health. Responsibilities: Perform battery replacement for CenTrak infrastructure, asset tags, environmental monitoring (EM) sensors, hand hygiene (HH) devices, etc. Perform small installations of infrastructure devices and validate via CenTrak software. Conduct troubleshooting of problematic areas in conjunction with remote support personnel Monitor equipment status and alerts via the Connect PulseTM application Ability to understand CenTrak designs with regards to device location within the hospital Submit Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) of products under warranty Maintain proper inventory of batteries and other equipment necessary for device maintenance Document daily activities, findings, and recommendations and provide to Customer Maintain rapport with customers by examining complaints, identifying solutions, and suggesting improved methods/techniques for the RTLS utilization Qualifications: Preferred: Degree in Networking/Telecommunications 2-3+ years of experience in a professional services environment supporting end-users Experience with IR, Wireless and Network Protocols a plus Experience in enterprise healthcare or hospital environments Advanced problem-solving skills coupled with a commitment to extraordinary customer service Maintain confidentiality and comply with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) requirements Comfortable navigating all areas of the hospital system including patient rooms Comfortable occasionally working around or with potential biological hazards; proper personal protective equipment will be worn in accordance with medical center policy and procedures Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office and other business applications Some area travel required between local sites (reimbursable). Participate in regular on-site and e-learning training, and maintain compliance with Jiffy Lube safety requirements, OSHA, and state regulations. Participate in marketing events and promotions. Keep customer, inventory, and service records and participate in inventory stocking. Perform housekeeping/minor building maintenance. Promote customer loyalty by ensuring completion of quality workmanship, reviewing services completed with guest, confirming guest satisfaction, and encouraging return at recommended intervals. Responsibilities: - Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and locate mechanical errors on equipment - Determine the extent of necessary repairs, including parts, labor, and any required tools - Repair and replace what is necessary to complete the repair - Read and understand information from schematics, manuals, and other necessary information - Perform welding, brazing, and fabrications - Complete work orders while collecting important data such as serial numbers, engine hours, acres, etc. - Communicate between the service manager and service writer - Communicate with the customer when necessary to inform them of any major issues - Ability to travel to the customer's location and work from a service truck - Maintain current knowledge of products and technology through training and events - Assist in special projects to maintain and improve the equipment lot, storefront, or other company property Experience: (Not required, but preferred): - Experience servicing agricultural or construction equipment is preferable. - Technical training on diesel mechanics, electrical systems, hydraulics, or other related fields - Experience with dealership information systems - Knowledge of agricultural or construction equipment Pay: - Pay based on experience and work ethic. - Time and a half paid for any hours worked over 40 hr/wk. - New generous compensation bonus structure along with competitive hourly wages. - Raises offered based on performance and time spent within the company. ***Please note that any estimated salaries listed on external job sites may be inaccurate and are not provided by Apple Farm Service.*** Benefits (available after 90 days): - Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life insurance - HSA with Free Contributions - Paid time off/Paid Holidays - Matching 401k program - Uniform Services - Tuition and Training Reimbursements available - Co-op program for Young Technicians Company Culture - Family-owned business with direct communication from the owner - Customer focused business, partnering with each customer on their behalf - Belief in hard work ethic and teamwork to assist each customer - Understanding on flexible schedules on family events and emergencies - Belief in customer satisfaction over efficiencies or gross profit About Apple Farm Service: Apple Farm Service is a family-owned company with the core values that every employee is treated like family.
