UNIVERSAL BANKER I (BANK TELLER) POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for assisting with a customers financial transactions in an efficient and friendly manner, providing the highest level of customer service. In addition, this position will assist with financial counseling, including opening and servicing of consumer accounts.
This is not a remote position

Requirements:
UNIVERSAL BANKER I (BANK TELLER) ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Provide exceptional customer service through quality conversations and efficient and accurate process of customer transactions.
Build relationships with customers by identifying needs and offering solutions.
Provide accurate information to customers based on product and service knowledge and understanding of the banking industry.
Frequently communicate with customers and employees in person or by phone and exchange accurate information in these situations.
Sell, open, and maintain banking products and services to new and existing customers. Cross sell bank products as part of the regular transaction process.
Proficient in customer account opening, maintenance, and closing accounts (including checking, savings, CDs and safe deposit boxes).
Process check orders; follow check cashing procedures; issue cashiers checks; process wire transfers, perform online and mobile banking maintenance; process stop payments and debit card disputes.
Handle financial transactions efficiently and effectively with all customers (including, but not limited to deposits, withdrawals, advances, loan payments and merchant transactions).
Maintain a balanced cash drawer.
Perform ATM/ITM duties in applicable markets.
Meet or exceed all established branch goals and contribute to branch deposit growth.

Education
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience

The Customer Specialist/Delivery is responsible for driving a straight truck along a daily delivery route. Tasks along the delivery route include:

This role acts as a strategic partner and advocate for Trans Ova Genetics clients by delivering personalized consultation, operational support, and proactive communication. This role balances a commitment to exceptional client service with collaboration across internal teams to ensure timely, effective, and customized solutions that drive client success and long-term loyalty.
Key Responsibilities:
Advocate
Respond to client inquiries within 24 hours with accuracy, professionalism, and empathy.
Interpret client objectives and operational goals to provide tailored consultation on services and products.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet complex client needs, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
Communicate technical results and service outcomes clearly and promptly, enabling confident client decisions.
Work proactively with clients to resolve issues, build trust, and identify win/win solutions.
Maintain open communication with clients and internal departments, including occasional after-hours responsiveness when client needs or time-sensitive issues arise.
Consult
Serve as the client's primary advisor for production planning, genetic services, and animal movement coordination.
Collaborate closely with production teams to make informed service adjustments that align with evolving client goals.
Support contracts, customer service agreements, and inventory management (cattle, embryos, semen).
Monitor feedback, identify trends, and propose process improvements to enhance the client experience.
Partner
Develop long-term relationships based on trust, responsiveness, and transparency with both clients and colleagues.
Actively support client retention and loyalty through thoughtful, goal-aligned service.
Represent Trans Ova Genetics professionally in appearance, communication, and ethical decision-making.
Participate in cross-departmental initiatives to improve services, systems, and client outcomes
Shipping
Assist clients in the domestic movement of their embryos and semen.
Maintain organization in shipping and receiving.
Execute detailed documentation and preparation for shipments.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree required; emphasis in Animal Science, Agribusiness, or related field preferred.
1 - 3 years of experience in a client-facing, consultative role within the agricultural or animal science sectors.
Experience in bovine genetics, dairy, or beef production is highly desirable.
Other skills/experience:
Excellent interpersonal communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
Comfortable with technology, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and CRM tools.
Ability to manage competing demands independently while maintaining attention to detail.

Work Requirements:
This position is based in a fast-paced agricultural setting and is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions and vibrations. The employees are occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, and airborne particles. The noise level is usually moderate but occasionally may be loud. PPE will be provided and must be utilized according to safety standards. Typical working hours are based on customer and organizational demand; hours may be long, irregular and include weekends and holidays during peak season.
While performing job functions the employee will be required to talk and hear most of the time. The employee will spend frequent intervals moving and sitting, while also needing to reach, bend, twist, crawl, crouch, stoop or kneel. The employee will need to be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently. Maneuverability on and off mobile equipment, ladders, and the ability to work at different heights. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. The physicality of this job is high.
