Assists in managing waitlists on weekends/peak season/holidays and ensures that rooms are utilized to maximum capacity.
Act as liaison between veterinarian and customer/emergency contact, keeping all parties informed of ongoing problems when necessary.
Help initiate “white glove” treatment to our best customers, ie. Call best customers well before peak seasons to secure reservations before we are “sold out”.
Respond promptly and troubleshoot any customer relations issues, keeping in mind our empowerment goals. Promptly address any uncomfortable situations with customers
Ensure the facility meets or exceeds expectations with regards to cleanliness and safety.
Notifying manager on duty or ordering when levels of inventory are low in the following areas: retail and cleaning products for lobby areas and office supplies
Ensure all common areas (lobby and employee spaces) are well maintained, clean and free from hazards ie: wet floors, defecant, etc.

We are looking for a Microbiology Operations Supervisor in 2057 Builders Place, Columbus, OH 43204 USA. Your mission will be to:
The incumbent is responsible for the analysis of food sample. The incumbent supervises departmental personnel conducting routine analysis.
* Supervise the activities of departmental personnel to ensure operations are in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and assigned tasks.
* Communicate any emerging client requirements to laboratory personnel as needed.
* Communicate procedural and operational difficulties and delays to client service personnel or the client as required.
* Read, calculate and record analysis data to produce a report for the client. Correct any discrepancies that occur.
* Administer corporate human resource programs relating to employee recruitment and retention, compensation, training and development, equal employment opportunity, performance appraisal, and employment record documentation.
* Educate and train departmental personnel on correct procedures and new analysis methods. Evaluate current methods and recommend modifications as new procedures become available.
* Arrange and document work schedules for departmental personnel so that analysis is accurately completed to maintain effective and efficient operations.
* Assist departmental personnel with analysis tasks as needed to ensure timely results.
* Maintain supplies and instrumentation for operating departments.
* Responsibility and authority, in conjunction with the Operations Manager or Lab Director, to cease specific analyses under their responsibility when evidence from the quality system indicated the process is not in control and the quality of the results is compromised as a result of the non-conformances.
* Maintain knowledge of Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) that is required to complete job responsibilities.
* Ensure that employees obtain knowledge of LIMS sufficient to perform job responsibilities. Institute and maintain systems to monitor and verify related LIMS training.
* Maintain expertise in the field of food science by attending relevant seminars and using available reading material.
* Support corporate quality and continuous improvement process.
* This position has the responsibility and authority to initiate action to prevent or minimize departures from the quality system or test procedures. This authority includes addressing resource needs to properly address issues such as client turn-around time requirements, overtime limits, employee turnover, work stoppage and assure the appropriate type and amount of materials are ready and available for use.

YOUR PROFILE
Profile (required education/qualifications and professional background): Bachelors degree and 2-5 years of relevant work experience or Masters degree. This position requires a broad knowledge of microbiology or chemistry, usually obtained from a degree in microbiology or chemistry, or through related job experience, to analyze and interpret data accurately. A general knowledge of food science is necessary to supervise the analysis of the sample.
Required skills: A broad knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and policies is necessary to ensure a safe working environment. A general knowledge of the Laboratory Information Management System is required to process client data and calculate and record analysis results.
Work Environment: The incumbent works in a laboratory setting with proper lighting and temperature control. Occasional exposure to laboratory fumes, chemicals, and materials will occur when in the laboratory. Safety equipment of gloves, laboratory coat and eyeglasses may need to be worn depending on the testing process. The incumbent may use the autoclave daily to complete the analysis process. Continuous lifting of analysis materials weighing up to 50 pounds are necessary to transport media materials. The incumbent can expect extended time spent in a standing position. The incumbent should be able to detect slight variation in shades of colors.

The GCCC Public Safety Senior Supervisor is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day functions of securing, directing, and promoting security and public safety on the campus of the Greater Columbus Convention Center. Public Safety Officers are assigned to greet guests as they arrive, check bags, perform visual checks of guests and materials, manage crowds, secure doors, monitor specific locations throughout the venue, and act as roving or posted security. As the “eyes and ears” of the venue, Public Safety Officers are expected to keep a close watch on the crowd and intervene in situations when appropriate. Public Safety Officers are on the “front line” of customer service and public safety and will experience the excitement and energy of the event and the satisfaction of interacting with the public. Assists in event related activities as required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Greets guests as they enter and leave the facilities.
Answers questions, resolves complaints, and gives directions.
Enforces venue policies and procedures.
Reports suspicious activity and violations of campus policy.
Responds to guest conflicts, medical situations, and other incidents.
Provides crowd management and assists with crowd movement.
Secures locations and prohibits access to unauthorized individuals.
Challenges unauthorized personnel in restricted areas.

Job Description

Job Purpose
PURPOSE:
The Facilities Equipment Service Coordinator is to oversee and coordinate all aspects of the maintenance team and their activities related to facilities operation within the Honda campus and facility. RESPONSIBILITY:
The Facilities Equipment Service Coordinator is to organize and execute maintenance schedules, lead coordination among all internal teams, external vendors, spare parts and inventory management, and oversee implementation of the site preventive maintenance strategies. Effective leadership of the maintenance activities, this role drives the overall efficiency, safety, and reliability of the facilities operations, ultimately supporting the organizations goals and objectives.
Key Accountabilities
Coordination and Communication:
Work with other in-house departments (outside of facilities) on planned and unplanned activity requiring maintenance support related to facilities operations. Assure the building's facilities' equipment meets capacity and reliability requirements of all direct and indirect customers across and related to the site.
Purchasing:
Create requisitions to issue purchase orders for maintenance and repair of facilities equipment.
Technical Knowledge:
Apply maintenance expertise in HDMA business planning operations. Facilitate the sharing of knowledge and best practice to impact decisions at Site / Unit / Dept level. Support FAC Operations with mechanical and electrical equipment. Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Honda's Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), Maximo. Apply analytical and trouble shooting skills to maximize mean time between failures (MTBF) and minimize mean time to recovery (MTTR).
Technical Management:
Support and coordinate operation of Facilities systems including, but not limited to, chillers, air compressors, HVAC, air house units, electrical distribution equipment, cafeteria equipment, meters, lighting, and controls. Manage and maintain documentation for the facilities equipment. Communicate critical updates to site system operators. Identify deficiencies to develop scope of design and construction for renovation or upgrade of existing industrial systems. Responsible for critical thinking, troubleshooting, data collection, experimental procedures, and data analysis techniques to solve problems and recommend facilities improvements.
Project Management:
Implement new strategies and technologies to replace facilities equipment and systems at their end of life (EOL). Manage testing, planning, and maintenance of facilities equipment.
Reporting and Documentation:
Lead and / or support in the bidding, evaluation, and selection process of contractors for the maintenance of facilities equipment. Determine and prioritize project tasks and develop schedule and timelines to achieve maintenance goals on time and within budget. Generate maintenance progress tracking and control documents.
Training:
Train FAC Associates and maintenance personnel on equipment operations related to mechanical and electrical systems. Provide support on an as-need basis. Ensure reference documentation is available and easily accessed.
