Service Technician Responsibilities Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership. Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment. Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc. Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs. Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.     This top quality Motorrad Dealership is growing and looking for talented and motivated Motorcycle Service Technicians, from Entry Level to Experienced to work with. Motorrad Service Technicians are passionate about customer service, take pride in their work, and enjoy being part of a winning team that cares about their employees. This Dealership offers: Pay scale starting with an hourly rate based on outcome of an in house proficiency test. Part A is a written test of broad base mechanical/electrical knowledge. Part B is an in shop/hands on experience. Applicants will be given repair orders with tasks listed. The candidate will be able to demonstrate their critical thinking skills, trouble shooting ability, and attention to detail. Techs are paid hourly plus time and a half overtime. In season, April through October, weekly hours total 48 and off season is reduced to 43. Additionally techs are given an incentive bonus that will be based once a base line of capability has been established. Paid personal leave: Year one 5 days, year two 8 days, year 4 13 days. All employees are given a week of pay for the week between Christmas and New Years, when the store is closed.
